The Spear Stun is an AoE in a small area but you need to aim it vs the stunning blow is just 1 target. When I figured this out I got used to it. Also, getting melee evasion and ranged endurance is quite good with spear greatsword and with the right runes to reach higher melee evasion and hitrate.

Farming open world dungeons help me burn my abyssal tokens more using spear/GS as I have no problem with heals and mana. Spear/Dag deals way more damage but mana is the problem even at 650 mana regen and all buffs.

honestly, i run gs/spear in PVE and do very well. It's all about rotation. I'm able to pump good damage and the AOE is insane. Zero mana issues

Same here, I kill whole rooms or pulls of mobs. On island there are full party's I run solo and ttk is like 3 sec. Ale is insane

Same. The flame javelin's just too good for PvE aoe farming. And when it's single-target, then you can fall back onto the GS's Deathblow-Guillotine combo. Not to mention that for boss fights, you can use the gap-close spear skill that gives attack speed buff with the boss 3x stack specilization to boost your attack speed to the point that your Deathblows and Guillo-Blade's have half a second of charge time instead of over a full second.

For me PvE is bosses. Every build insta kills regular trash mobs once you have the gear. I can one shot 10+ mobs with just a GS and no other weapon, or just a Spear and no other weapon

I think you got it wrong for spear GS. GS remains the main because it synergies well with what passives and buffs spear provides (crit hit chance and atk speed)

Check out the specializations again pve you can get a lot of aoe on most of the moves and they still rip through single targets and add a few single target dps skills , I only use shadow step , the trip , the critical stab and the first dagger move , and honestly death from above is somthing I switch on and off depending on my team at that time , if I’m trying to make it quicker over all or easier for my team , like in the dungeon the fear on a bunch of enemy’s can keep them alive long enough to let the healers do their thing

Saying not to run melee evasion to me personally is crazy lol all the stuns are melee… a mage can the issue get on them while avoiding stuns makes a huge diff

Didn't say not to run it in general. With daggers you are gaining 600 from your movement. With GS you are not breaking the 2000 evasion mark. Most bow and staff players are sitting at 1400 hit with solid gear. If you are sitting at 1500 evasion with GS you aren't going to do much

bro for spear u need high dex and hight crit hit chance, thats how it works, attack speed and high crit for how the skills of the spear works, u need like 60+ dex

I run shakal spear in anything that isn't mass aoe. You could also use it for mass. It's the main way to get your hit numbers
