This is me fulfilling my promise, he’s my favorite after so many heartbreaks. I would just install "clone it" app and migrate everything at once. no downloading or hectic procedures required.. just migrated data to mom's Redmi note 4. works perfectly fine!

Yeah I just don't get it why doesn't google backup those browser bookmarks and even SMS / call logs with the default backup I guess might be due to privacy concerns but they can give a user a choice if they do that the entire migration can be done a lot more easily without using third party apps.

Sir, for backing up the apps in our old android smartphone, only one app should be installed in our new phone i.e. Xender. With it the apps get transferred much faster than downloading them from play store.

Thanks Ranjit, Had to do a bit differently using different model phones a year and a half after this video was posted. If you spoke a little more slowly it would be helpful. Not saying it's your English, accent or anything of that nature. You just speak as quickly as an auctioneer so trying to keep up with you while watching the video is hard.

I had a mirror filter on one of my older phones and I loved it. Can I transfer just that filter to the phone that I'm using now they are both Androids. Google play store has a mirror filter but it's not interactive with my camera phone, in that the edit can only be done after the picture is taken but no creative licenses is given during the photography process and that is what I need.

Hello, I am getting a new phone so I need to back up my text messages before turning in the phone. My biggest concern about the Sms Back-Up app is that there is a cap on how many text messages can be transferred? I have over 10k texts I need to back up and to transfer onto my new phone. Any suggestions how too do this at home before going in to pick up my new phone? Better to use cloneit app from play store. It's take only 5 minutes to migrate Ur connect call logs photos videos and sms also apps to one mobile to another mobile by using hospot and wlan system. Just like a xender

You can also use the Samsung Smart Switch app which is another way of transfering data and call logs easily.

Hi Ranjit, I have a problem with the back up and restore, hope you can help me. So I am getting a new phone on an exchange offer which means i will have to hand over the old phone when i receive the new one, hand to hand. therefore my back up and restore has to work without having to pair both the devices. You can understand when the new phone arrives, i will have to have my old phone ready with a complete data erase. is there a way to do this without having to do a 'detect nearby device' thing?
