Hello Ranjeet, I have always loved your clear and easy to follow technical lessons you always offer. What appears to be unclear to me in this process of data transfer to a new android phone is whether it is done with the old sim card in the original android phone while a new sim card is in the new android phone, considering the fact that one intends to continue using the old sim with the new android phone.

Yeah I just don't get it why doesn't google backup those browser bookmarks and even SMS / call logs with the default backup I guess might be due to privacy concerns but they can give a user a choice if they do that the entire migration can be done a lot more easily without using third party apps.

Thanks Ranjit, Had to do a bit differently using different model phones a year and a half after this video was posted. If you spoke a little more slowly it would be helpful. Hello, I am getting a new phone so I need to back up my text messages before turning in the phone. My biggest concern about the Sms Back-Up app is that there is a cap on how many text messages can be transferred? I have over 10k texts I need to back up and to transfer onto my new phone. Any suggestions how too do this at home before going in to pick up my new phone? Sir, for backing up the apps in our old android smartphone, only one app should be installed in our new phone i.e. Xender. With it the apps get transferred much faster than downloading them from play store.

You can also use the Samsung Smart Switch app which is another way of transfering data and call logs easily.
