it takes about 5 minutes to kill the last boss. mighty troll's blood potion restores 12hp/5sec, so during this fight alone it will restore ~720 health. that's pretty handy, considering the materials for that potion generally cost less than 5 silvers.

This is either fixed or can be "broken" in the most recent WoW Classic version. The Hydrospawn won't start to circle around the edges at all, but comes straight at you. Just a note for all those who are trying to do this. You can get him to run around it with some logic, but the method shown in this video doesn't work 100% of the time. If it's bugged, you probably need to reset the instance and try again.

Fully possible to kill the last boss as SM/ruin, but you'll often need nature protection potions,(usually very cheap). Worth buying for these runs.

I'm doing the first 2 bosses + Lethtendris as conflagrate / SM specced. Enslave a demon on the ramp going up to her, nuke the imp, then run down and start LoS'ing leth the same way you do with the other 2 bosses.

Hello Abap. I have 2 questions: 1) Is this doable in SM/Ruin? 2) My gear is Shadow wrath pre bis mostly, so I have very low health, and just a bit over 300 SP. Also, I am Tailoring/Alchemy , could unlearn Tailoring till bloodvine but I dropped the Mooncloth Bag pattern and learnt it, I'm the only one in my guild that can make them... So no mining . Am I just better farming Maraudon or non-peak times World Farming ?

It is very doable with SM/Ruin. That is what I currently use. This is significantly less money without mining as you miss sapphires/crystals. I also had Mooncloth Bag pattern, but I dropped tailoring and it was very worth it. This farm is 2-3x more gold an hour than Maraudon. And you don't have to rely on ring sales. I recommend farming up now before you need to get tailoring again for bloodvine.

I'm doing it on shadow priest with holy priest gear. Gear isn't the difference here. Siphon life is your friend. Not sure why the content creator thinks siphon life'ing all the adds on the last boss is anything but free resources... Also, you don't need to clear the packs next to Hydrospawn at all. Just make sure you dodge the geysers.

@@LaureTheGamer On the imp packs their burst damage simply is too strong even with Siphon Life. I'll check it out again when I have a little more gear. I was able to complete a run but like I said, it wasn't as smooth as the video shows.

It's pretty simple. They're easily my favorite mobs in these runs. Open with enslave and always immediately start casting another enslave in case of fail, but be ready to deactivate his fireball as soon as you do get him. After that, begin his rain of fire. I then get 1 tap in, activate toep, and agony/corrupt all 5 adds. By then his RoF should be almost ready and he should be getting low. Try to get another of his RoFs in, but keep him targeted. When he's low, dismiss him and shadowburn. Most adds should be dead by then.

@@brooksy yeh i agree the gold per hour is massively inflated.. I've done about 75 clears now and seen around 5 dusty tomes total, and only got 1 book.. Also only had 2 librams and they were both rapidity. Maraudon is better gold per hour than this.

Most important thing that I haven't yet see in any of the comments is where the 116 life gain ticks comes from since he's not life draining.That's the difference between dying on the imps and surviving.I had tried 3-4 times doing the exact thing and the hell caller dies and end up with imps killing me. It would ve been nice to post these important info rather than just telling us to visit the twitch and wait a few days for answers.

Hey Abap! Cool guide, and super helpful commentary - should be easy to replicate ;) By the way.. Greater Detect Invisibility doesnt actually help you find stealthed mobs, as invisibility and stealth is two different things in WoW classic. Eyes in Stratholme are invisible, while rogues go into stealth :o)

I wouldn't recommend it....SM/Ruin can get away with it but really you need siphon life to sustain you and the extra regen from DS'ing VW is incredibly helpful.

Good guide, I have one question though. Why spec into Curse of Exhaustion rather than fel concentration? I find Fel Concentration much more handy in general, and Curse of Exhaustion is almost never handy for bosses. Is this just a prefernence from your end or is it a must have for certian mobs I didn't catch in this run?

he goes into detail in the actual video. he says realistically you are looking at 50-60 g/h. but there is alot of room for RNG to pump that up alot higher with crystal/book drops. Even a few essence drops can increase it. I do a slightly different farm there, 12 mins just killing hydro then the boss with the imp, got 3 essences in a row for 18g each.

@@krismiller1623 you enslave the shadowstalker on the way up to her, send it in to aggro her, throw up doom, then set it on the imp, dot up and nuke imp down with shadowbolt. Then dot her up and when the stalker dies or just before start heading down to the water boss room. You can also dismiss the stalker when very low on health and it will very slowly run down too for you to kill for an extra thing to loot. Plenty of guides on KZbin showing that farm too.

Look like nerfed, everytime new satyr added, when you jump and leave garden to the hallway one stealthy satyr patrolling and one NEW is in the corner with laid column before Hydrospawn. Also changed de-Agrro mechanics on that column? Cant leave combat properly. And Hellcaller satyr died pretty fast. Enslaved demons break up connection like a hell. Very very often. Try it now and post it :-)

That's a cool run but there a so many problems we can encounter as warlocks on classic... First of all, killing a mob with curse of doom can make our doom guard spawn and kill us... Also, enslae demon has a chance to last less than 1 minute which is a big problem when you go through a 6 mobs pack with the enslaved demon who will kill you as soon as possible.. Those randoms timers are realy pains in the ass for warlocks, instead of a mage who can run without any problem cuz their spells are not randomized like that..
