This guided meditation will guide you through a deep relaxation body scan that will help manage any sensations of nausea and morning sickness as you connect with yourself and your baby. Breathe through the uncomfortable moments and remember how hard your body is working.
Transcript:
 Hello and welcome.
If you're here, you may be in need of some support with managing morning sickness. By taking time to tune into your body and the waves of sensations you may be experiencing. You are creating space for healing to unfold as you honor all that is arising within you with compassion and ease.
Beginning by finding a comfortable posture either seated in a chair with your feet flat and your spine long. Or perhaps laying down, if that feels supportive.
And as you arrive here, invite your eyes to close and your breath to move naturally.
Bringing your awareness to your body, visualizing it relaxed and at ease, noticing your limbs loosening, and perhaps allowing this to be a quiet moment just for you. Nowhere else to be but here with yourself.
Holding your attention here. Staying present with any distractions arising in your body. Welcoming thoughts, emotions. Or anything else you may notice coming to the surface with a kind awareness and simply remaining a compassionate observer.
As you arrive in this moment, it can be helpful to bring kindness to what your body is going through. Remembering that your body is working overtime. And that these changes in your body and energy levels are a natural part of the pregnancy process. So simply just use this time to create space for any nausea or unease to be here, imagining yourself and your baby.
Developing a deeper connection with each passing sensation, and allowing yourself this time to be present with your little one,
aligning with this loving acceptance. Invite openness into your body. Allowing this to be a space for growth and expansion. Breathing gently through any sensations that may feel intense or unmanageable, and holding a loving patience within your heart with each new inhale and exhale.
Keeping your attention here, visualizing your body as deeply relaxed. Imagining the muscles of your face beginning to melt your arms, hands, legs. And feet slowly loosening each vertebrae of your spine, gently unraveling the center of your chest, upper abdomen, lower abdomen, and naval. All at ease.
Mentally scanning your entire body here and releasing any lingering tension or tightness, allowing any sensations of morning sickness to move through. You like passing rapids through a steady stream.
As your body continues to calmly support you and the growth of your baby,
Guiding your awareness into your heart, recognizing that by inviting this relaxation into your body, You are offering yourself and your baby a comforting dose of healing, creating space for a loving connection between you to expand,
lingering in this awareness for a few moments, connecting with yourself. Feeling healthy and whole, continuing to expand deeply through your own relaxation.
Starting to bring your attention back to your body and the space you're in, feeling each in breath and each out breath. Moving deeply through you,
and if you wish to continue meditating, please remain doing so for as long as you would like. Or if you'd prefer, simply conclude at the end of this recording. Knowing that the feeling you cultivated here may stay with you throughout the rest of your day.
