The Honest Guys - Meditations - Relaxation Hii thank you! I wanted to say in case it was an oversight that your (c) at the end still says 2017. Also I was curious why the back and neck were not included in this. I was laying on my side so maybe I was expecting it to be included whereas if someone lays on their back, it would probably already feel heavy? I don't need an answer or anything, just curious. Regardless, the meditation was super effective for me. I have really been struggling lately both physically and emotionally and I was so grateful to feel at peace from this meditation in my mind and my body, much more than I expected I could at this time. Thank you so much.

Don’t run. Sit with it. Just, sit with the feeling. It’s not the end of the world, you are not dying, everything is okay. You don’t have to do anything. Just feel what you are feeling. Your body is trying to tell you something. Don’t be scared, listen. Take care of your body, of your mind. What you feel matters. You matter. Please take care of yourself, the rest will fall into place.

You’re definitely not alone! I’ve suffered anxiety and depression my entire life. I’m 46 now. Now more than ever I think all the people on the globe are struggling. And if you’re sensitive, this can effect you even more. Feeling everyone’s stuff not just our own. This meditation really does help. At 42 I gave up and started meds. That’s even a process. I’m also in therapy and recovery. That also helps me know I’m not alone. Glad you are releasing tears! Feeling is healing. Sometimes I do this meditation twice a day. One of the times I do it in a hot bath. I find water to be relaxing and healing

I suffer from general anxiety that is more exacerbated by certain things. I have testing anxiety for example, and I am taking the MCAT next month to get in to medical school and I have been very sick with some strange virus that the doctors can't figure out the past month and a half so as you can imagine my anxiety has been a lot worse than it normally is. Normally I handle it pretty well with mediation and prayer/God and family. But lately it's been tough. I would just like to say thank you because I tried this video in particular tonight (I love all your videos and use them pretty much every night) but this one really really helped my anxiety and gave me a few moments of relaxation and peace. Thank you for your videos. I really appreciate them. They really do make a difference. Keep doing what you're doing! You have a big impact on people's lives. God bless! ❤️

Honest Guy's channel and videos along with a couple other channels have literally saved me from the pit of despair. So much so it's inspired me to create a similar based channel to give back. And I just love seeing complete strangers all come together to share positivity. We just launched, creaging a lot of content and videos will be coming out regularly. Relaxation with no script and guided meditations/hypnosis as well. I love these short restorative meditations by these “Honest Guys”. I have noticed an over all reduction in the “knots” in my stomach through regular meditation. I did not know I was anxious. I just thought I was “on”.

That’s interesting, Doris, I expect a lot of people feel they are ‘on’ when they are anxious.

Thank you for all your hard work - is it possible you could do one for depression, anxiety, self harm and suicidal thoughts? I know it’s heavy subjects but important. Much appreciated ❤️
@TheHonestGuys7 жыл бұрын
One of the first ones we did was banishing depression, it is on our playlists. And we don’t create meditations which focus on the negative, as it’s like saying ‘don’t think about pink elephants’ what’s the first thing you think of? We do talk to a very wise man who’s meditating since the late 60’s and we agree with his words, that mediation is the secret to changing the brain. Any mediation, it is simply the act of meditating regularly (daily) that produces the effect. :)
@Sunnybias7 жыл бұрын
The Honest Guys - Meditations - Relaxation thank you for your answer - I thought maybe you had some specific medication guides that could target those areas, but I get your point. Keep up the good work ❤️ Love from Denmark.
@TheHonestGuys7 жыл бұрын
Banishing Depression has always been very popular with our viewers. But imagine settling down to meditate and thinking ‘I’m going to use this to help [insert name here]. Your mind is going to be full of that thing you don’t want even before you begin meditating.

I’ve been getting anxiety/panic attacks a lot as of lately. Recently taken up journaling, eating healthier, yoga and now I’ve discovered The Honest Guys. This is by far the best video I’ve listened to. I felt a minor anxiety attack spring up. I felt my legs start to shake like I’m cold but I know I’m not. Worried thoughts started to take over. I put in my earphones and tried this video out. I miss this level of relaxation. I’ll definitely be coming back to this video when an attack hits or is about to. Thank you!!

That was fantastic, I am someone that suffers from terrible social anxiety & panic attacks & have never been the urge to meditate while looking for video. This one just drew me in & I can’t thank you enough for how I feel right now. 🙏. It’s amazing, I’m relaxed, my mind seems more relaxed 😌. Thank you 🙏 thank you 🙏. After reading some comments, I realized that I am not alone it this fight, that no one seems to understand (family & friends). The struggle is very real & have been fighting it for many years. Kept it hidden frm my husband for so long , until I could no longer hide it. Every day is a struggle 2 be normal & want to be the person I used to be. Very hard & sad @ times.

This is such an amazing meditation and one of the best on KZbin. Thank you🦋 And to anyone feeling hard emotions, sit with them. Emotions are messages and signals of things that need your attention. Get deeper into your body, dance, shake, and truly feel the emotions so them so they can release. Embodiment has helped me get through depression, suicidal thoughts, panic attacks, and high functioning anxiety. Sending peace and love on your journey inward🤍

I’ve had my anxiety under control for about a year now. I recently started a new job and I’ve been roster on for 9-14 hour shifts. It’s ridiculous and it stresses me out so much. When I get really anxious I actually get physically sick and it’s the worst feeling in the world because I become scared to eat and I have to meditate and take anxiety meds just to keep food down. It sucks because I’ve been almost prefect for a year and now I feel like I’m relapsing and it scares me a lot. I can’t remember how i got out of it last time. I’m 19 and I had to sleep in the same bed as my Mum last night because I couldn’t handle being alone. I never lose hope though. I remind myself that I have been through this before and I can get through this again. God is with me and he is with all of you as well. I believe that he doesn’t want us to suffer and if we reach out to him and ask him for help that he will help us to endure and eventually overcome everything that we are going through. Everyone in the comments, I know that we can get through this together. You are stronger than you know, and because you are here, you are trying. I watched another meditation video once and it said that the secret to releasing anxiety is just to breathe a little slower. That’s all there is to it. And if you can get your breath just a little slower than you’re already well on your way to getting out of a panicked state. Stay strong guys
