Ive been warming up with this every time I play and after only a couple of weeks my technique has improved signifincantly. Each time I play I set a new goal for speed. This is brilliant!

I love your guided workout videos! I start every practice with this and the two strumming ones. Thank you so much for posting these. I really haven't found anything else online as good as these. I will definitely be getting your strumming course soon.

I would HIGHLY suggest people don't do what is being done with the pinky finger here. Anchoring your picking hand is going to cause you problems down the road when you get to more complex picking styles. Major problems.
@patrickgeagan95096 ай бұрын
I had to completely relearn how to use my picking hand because I anchored it too much when I first learned how to play.

Hello pow music. I'm a great fan of your content and I love how easy u make it to learn songs. I'm a great fan of rock music and I started playing guitar so I could play like mark knopfler, Eric Clapton and many more. However, I've recently learned about flamenco guitar and really got a grip to it, much more than rock. I would like to know if this spider exercise can be useful for someone that plays with a flamenco fingerstile because there u are using a pick. I'm sorry if this is kind of an obvious question but I'm self tough so I have no one to guide me. Thank you very much Keep being great

Hello! Yes! Absolutely - whatever right hand technique you use, you can still work on that technique going through the exercise, whether it is Paco De Lucia "Walking" style, or thumb and index finger - still valuable :D

Hello! Just found your channel and must say I'm thrilled and impressed with the practicity and didatics of your videos. As a guitar teacher as well I must ask: what software do you use for the fretboard animation? It looks awesome and I would really like to try learning how to do that myself for my students. Thank you!
@Cloudkusanagui3 жыл бұрын
@Zen If you want to be nice, try not to talk shit to someone from another country who does not fully know your language... it's not because I missed a C in didactics that makes that word made up, that's just your stupidity and lack of interpretation. You shouldn't be worried about my students wasting money on me, they are happy with my DIDACTICS and my bachelor's degree... I'm more than happy to take inspiration for this channel too, since many of my students don't know any english. You should worry more about wasting your time critizing and being agressive to people you don't know around the internet. If you have didactics and show your students pratical ways to learn, memorize, and then be able to focus on musical interpretation, you're probably doing a great job as a teacher. And for the looks of this conversation, I think you're more of a student than a teacher, even considering every teacher is a forever growing student. Go take care of your own life now, thanks.

Is there any way you can do something on how to add triads from the diatonic scale into 1,4,5 type blues or how to go from blues to blues rock theory?

Could someone help me out, please. I see he is using the pad of the fingers while my teatcher keeps telling me I should use the tip and not the pad. Is there a right way?
@PerryCodes Жыл бұрын
I like the picking variations, but it would have been nice if the drum fills correlated even somewhat to the patterns. As-is, they sound random once you deviate from a single rhythm.

Please how can I get the exact metronome/drum bit that you are using for this exercise. Thanks.
@PowMusic4 жыл бұрын
I believe I created these in Logic with their automated drummer but If you type into KZbin something like “75bpm drum beat” or whatever bpm you want there will be many options! 🎸✌️

my teacher said, don't lift the finger to make the exercise much better
@EgorPomidor-r7l2 ай бұрын
This is not a spider exercise. This is simply rearranging notes on one string, which does not develop your finger stretch at all.

Got it
@VaGdude7 ай бұрын
Good job BUT… It is very IMPORTANT to not lift fingers until they are needed on the next string…most people all do the SAME mistake(even the fella in the video)
