San Francisco's Chinatown is the oldest and biggest Chinatown in the US and out of China. I believe it is the most beautiful and authentic one in America.

I have a quick question. In a bunch of pictures I've seen, there are lanterns everywhere which I find aesthetically pleasing lol. Is there a certain time of year I should go to see them?

It should be called ChinaStreet and not Chinatown.

There is way more than just that street, nobody ever looks past the main street though.

I was there today and is super cool. It’s a lot bigger than china town in LA. I think it’s at least one square mile. Lots of fun shops and massage places.

In the past you heard Cantonese but today you hear the irritating Mainlander Mandarin. Many China people have opened restaurants in Chinatown and you'd better beware of getting ripped and fooled.
