7/2/25: wow. it’s been a whole year since i released this video, and the support for it has been absolutely insane. even now, i can’t believe it’s still getting views at this rate. there are so few videos i have that i believe deserve even a fraction of this success… thank you all so much for watching! _(if only the big announcement was ready yet…)_ 20/2/24: a lot of people have been asking about the splitscreen, figured I should clarify: the splitscreen mod by Henpemaz (it’s one of the most popular mods on the workshop, it shouldn’t be hard to find) has a setting in its remix menu that allows you to split the game into two windows entirely. hi you may have noticed this recording is 8 months old the original idea was to record (almost) all the campaigns, then make one super long video out of it but it's taking a while to get through the DLC (i'm usually busy with university, so good recording times are sparse) _(if you subscribe to holo, you might just catch one of those recordings live. just sayin'.)_ so i decided to split it in two (a relatively recent decision, which is how the recordings got so old) this video, to serve as a sort of "rain world introduction", and another video that's all the other campaigns just in case i want to make more rain world content in the meantime also, don't expect long videos like this very often, i'm too busy to do that constantly just the occasional big project. for fun, y'know?

@@ozenvr basically Jolly Co-op is a DLC exclusive tool that allows you to play with up to 4 players at a time, and it lets you use unlocked (im pretty sure only campaigns you have beaten) slugcats in the game

if coop was canon it would be hard mode, because it is possible for someone to die, and from their perspective they come back but if you save theyre gone

So actually if someone dies in your cycle and you survive, your cycle continues with them being dead, and they get their own cycle without you alive. So you just separate ways. It's kinda complicated but that's basically the reason the survivor and monk want to ascend (their family died and they survived in the same cycle)
