Brother, I just found your channel. My wife is from Calumet, MI and I love that dam UP. About to retire from the military in 2026 and make my way up there. Also, I bought a shirt recently to help support you in the little ways that I can!!!!!! Great video.

Just got back from the UP on a 4 day long trip. Trout fished about the whole time. Stayed with family in iron river. 1st time up there. It's incredible. Words can't do it justice. Such a beautiful place. I'll be back soon!

Amazing that you turned a guided trip into a great video that showcases you as a guide and videographer. Plus the client now has something to look back on. Win win! Excellent video, advice you gave, and memories served for a lifetime. Keep up the great work man!

Tight Lining MD yeah. I had a feeling it was going to work. Sometimes you need that vibe going into it. For every one of these videos that gets posted there are 15 that were attempted but for one reason or another when I get home and try to edit them, something just doesn’t click. I’m glad this one did.

Your content is great. I’m boggled how you can guide and film at the same time and end up with something this good. And you even captured the magic of the “after fishing” evening walk back to the truck! Bravo 👌🏼

kevin jozwiak funny thing, after we got back to the vehicles, we realized we were one rod short and I had to hike back over that bluff to retrieve it. If I wouldn’t have been thinking about how much I didn’t want to hike back, I would have filmed that too!

Watched in entire video so you're doing it right, felt like there was no "fluff" or very little. Good blend of vlog and cinematic breaks and managed to tell the story of the trip. Helps when the UP is the backdrop!

Great Video! So looking forward to our Fall Experience coming up. Tight Line Nymphing is a GAME CHANGER! I just got done doing a trip where I ended up with 3 dozen fish where the total of the others was in single digits. They were laughing at me when I would hook a little 6" brook and I reminded them my setup allowed me to feel a 6 inch fish take the nymph. I think they slowed down to think about that for a moment... Keep up the great content!

@@HaightsWanderings Dude...Wander down to the Carp in St. Ignace, I caught 32 bows in there yesterday, you could make a bad ass video there, went for salmon and quickly adjusted gear when they started hitting, it was ridiculous, going again today

Nice video! Did you only use nymphs and mudlers, or did you fish dry flies?
@darkwaters52174 жыл бұрын
Phil Cleven we did throw some dries. Mike pulled 12 brookies on a caddis in one hole 1/2 way through the day.
