I loved Cassie. Laura Wright made that role her own. Nicole Forrester just didn't cut it, in my opinion, she was never Cassie. I especially loved her relationships with Richard, Reva, Harley and Blake. It was great when the women had their girl time. They were so much fun to watch. I miss Richard and Cassie together. My heart broke when they killed Richard off. He was Cassie's soulmate. Their story was not done. Long live Rassie.

I loved Richard and Cassie too. I miss them too. I hate it too that they killed off Richard. They were even better then Josh and Reva! I agree with you : "Richard and Cassie 4ever!" and I miss Guiding Light!

I so miss Guiding Light. This was awesome to stumble across, I was searching out something for Cassie character, but a whole video telling her story on the show was an even better find. It was really cool to relive so much I forgot I knew, lol. I loved Laura Wright as Cassie, but agree Nicole did a good job to. Great job and thanks for putting this together!

Laura Wright as Cassie was my favorite. I could feel the chemistry with other cast members? Did not like the other actress as Cassie. Someone commented about the relationship of Josh and Cassie, I agree I hated it. Even if it was Laura Wright playing Cassie at that time, bad, bad idea to put Cassie with her ex-brother in law! What were the writers thinking!

I was never fond of Cassie. I thought there was a better story in Annie being Reva's half-sister (Cassie and Reva together were simply insufferable once they started getting along and mean-girling a bunch of great characters) and then Cassie was a huge part of San Cristobel eating the show for about five years. The only time I ever really cared about her was while she was with Edmund. That being said, this was a great profile! Good job!

She and Reva hogging the screen is why I stopped watching. I think that they ruined Dinah because of Cassie and Laura Wright. They refused to let her move on, so that they could have Cassie look good.

I know I’m in the minority here probably but I didn’t see anyone with Cassie except Hart. Those 2 were the reason I started watching GL (was late to the game). Hated her with anyone other than Hart and hated when they killed Hart off. They could’ve kept his character alive and It would’ve been interesting to see how that story would’ve ended up. Also Laura Wright played Cassie the best.

I'd forgotten how sexualized Cassie was early on (not just the stripping). She also had so many money problem stories - that's also why she was first with Richard, I think. And he died because of money problems. On and on. She also had a sort-of flirtation with Jim Lemay before Beth got together with him.

Loved this! I never much cared for the second Cassie. Laura Wright's Cassie was a pistol and the second Cassie seemed kind of...wimpy and bland. I also always found it really hard to believe that Cassie would hook up with her sister's ex-husband.

I agree they were insufferable together at times, although I preferred them united to being in conflict. I never can get past the original idea being Kim Zimmer in a dual role. I always liked Cassie, but I put a lot of that on Laura Wright. She started to get much colder in her last few years on GL though, and it was more difficult to be invested. I liked her with Edmund and with Richard. I also would have enjoyed her with Danny, if fan outcry hadn't killed it.

Guilding Light was a great soap opera (I was in NY they change GL time slot ) I think the ratings went down...(I think I stop watching for awhile..wen i started back Reva had a sis with blonde hair) I'm thinkin this ainf Rozy (the only sis I knew Reva had.. this brings me here ) enter Cassie!

Cassie in general was pretty insufferable, in my opinnion. Those damn Manny fans. It's because of THEM PAS lost his job when TPTB finally cut NSA loose, which was FAR overdue. The only time I ever liked Cassie was when she was with Edmund

@@hshawn00 , Paul Rauch which was a writer for Loving another soap where LW was front and center. Before Cassie came on Dinah had started to change for the better. She helped Matt find Vanessa and she was a shoulder for him. When Cassie came on they made Dinah go crazy. There's a difference between being a bitch and being a psycho. Instead of moving Dinah on with Vanessa's doctor and write a good love story, they made her go crazy over Hart. Frank Grillo(the actor who played Hart) even said that Dinah and Hart were destroyed because of Cassie and Hart. His words not mine.
