OH, but that was part of the point. Manny pushed Messe to total insignificance. The lighthouse became Manny's place and even after sleeping with Jesse twice in that bed, it's kissing Danny that Michelle remembers. It's the difference between a juvenile crush and true love.

One thing I've noticed about the new format of GL is that they don't do flashbacks anymore and I really think that is a mistake. Look how powerful it is in this scene showing what they are both remembering. It wouldn't be nearly as good without it. P.S. These clips ARE addictive. Thanks for posting them. I can't stand it until July 2nd.

Also, keep in mind he wanted to be there for Michelle because he wanted to make amends for not helping a Bauer Relative from many years ago named Mary Bauer who was in the Family Way which could have been Meta. He was never heard from again.

It is weird that they recalled all that moment when they were in bed at the lighthouse and now here she is confessing that she is truly in love with him

Yeah, this was around 1996, when Michelle #3 met Zachary The Angel who was only supposed to come to town to help Alan Michael Spaulding and his "then" Wife Lucy. He helped Vanessa leave Springfield when she was suffering from a debilitating disease, he "tried" to help Villian Roger Thorpe, and he fell in love with Michelle. He was living in The Lighthouse where his Supervisor warned him about what he was doing wrong. He made amends by saving a couple on the night of the Cedars 60th Ball.

Okay I wish they didn't shot this scene at that place, that was Jesse and Michelle's place, they should have created Michelle and Danny's place.

At that point... Europe. In later years, he was in Africa, Louisiana, California.

I stand corrected. I just remember that Meta had alot of problems back in the day. You know what else I remember. There was another Sister named Trudy Bauer played by Helen Wagner (Nancy Hughes McCloskey) on As The World Turns. It's too bad none of her relatives came into the show.

It wasn't Meta. Meta was a little girl and remembers them and tells the story. They never explain who this Mary is or how she's connected to the family.

Yes, I wish they'd brought Trudy back. That would have been fun, but they really ignored most of Meta's backstory when Mary Stuart took her over. Great character anyway.

Maybe so orlandobabe, but The Lighthouse was also the place where Michelle #3 played by Rebecca Budig fell in love with Zachary The Angel.
