I'm smiling enjoying watching this scene again years later, thinking back to the first time I discovered the Otalia story line on YT because I didn't watch the soaps. How I got obsessed with it!! Now as I watch these old clips i think about all the times I wished that they could have kissed but in some ways more thankful for the story about the love and bond that grew between them with tender looks and touches that sent my heart ablaze wishing for the dept of that kinda love in our own lives.

Yeah, and it's SO awkward that they don't kiss at times when any other couple would! Like kissing good-bye & hello, and that "kishug" on the couch that looks so awkward where you swear they are going to kiss but it turns into a hug and Liv's hand ends up pressed against her face instead of holding Natalia. LOL It's ridiculous.

There is another scene in which we see Olivia & Natalia from the back & we see Greg on the other side of the bed facing them. He sees how they act toward each other & gets this look on his face like he knows what's going on (it's NOT this scene b/c their hair & clothes are different!). Actually, at the time this was ground breaking. A same sex relationship had never been developed quite like this one and it was amazing as it unfolded. Unfortunately, CBS wimped out at the end and wouldn't let them kiss. Such a wasted opportunity.

Yep, not allowing them to kiss was a major fail. But here on youtube there are other less inhibited sapphic relationships from the German soap Verboten Liebe with subtitles in english, covering Erika and Nina (posted by Billand97), Carla and Hanna, Carla and Susanne, Carla and Stella (all posted by Lezsoapia), and the last one, Rebecca and Marlene (posted by lgbtq characters on tv). All of those story threads are on here (YT) in full, amounting to about 240 videos in all. . A week's worth of bingeing at least! Erika and Nina date from the late 90s and it's a bit clunky at that stage but probably at the same level of production as Guiding Light. The later stuff is quite slick. A more up to date and longer lasting storyline you've probably seen is that of Mariah and Tessa from The Young and The Restless, but in case you haven't seen it, it's a bit slow getting off the ground but it gets there, and there's no shortage of kissing. There are many hours of the storyline posted here on youtube under Teriah or Mariah and Tessa by several different posters. GLCCJL, who posted the Otalia story thread in full on here, has posted a 7 minute fanvideo of Mariah and Tessa to Gloria Estefan's Hold me, Thrill Me, Kiss me which is composed of scenes appropriate to the song title.

Honest to pete Crystal and Jessica's chemistry is mad. Sometimes the way their characters look at each other has me suppressing the urge to fan myself and then my laptop screen lest it catches on fire. The show really lucked out with these two; you just can't create that kind of chemistry. Either the actors have it or they don't but oh lord do these two have it and then some.

CBS should've kept guiding light and got rid of the bold and the beautiful instead that show repeats the same triangle everyday it's the Brooke ridge and Taylor story the rest of the cast is ignored it's all about ridge Taylor and Brooke and steffy and Thomas acting like little kids I want my mommy and daddy back together and no guiding light wasn't perfect but atleast it tried the writers at bold aren't even trying CBS is nothing without GL. And ATWT just like NBC is nothing without another world and ABC sucks without Ryan's hope and one life to live you suck CBS and so does proctor and gamble guiding light as the world turns and another world were the best written soaps on daytime as well as search for tomorrow so sad
