This reminds me of a scene from "Dynasty" season 3 in 1983 called Blake's Abdication Day - which an excerpt was shown in the film Big Business where Bette Midler's character Sadie Ratliff watches it on video and spends time imitating Joan's voice - something that was VERY helpful to her at the end of the film.

Yeah, you're right, it just breaks my heart that when she tries to "break" from the Spaulding Legacy, something always drags her back. Remember a couple of months ago when she and Lizzie were going to leave and Alan begged her not to playing the family card and she fell for it hook, line and sinker.

The writing is still good, but not as good as it was back in the mid-late 90's when James Harmon Brown and Barbara Esensten were writing this show.

Beth didn't have any brains. She couldn't even take a pee without consulting Phillip or Allan or God knows who else. Harley on the other hand, I'm very disappointed with. She was always so smart in the past, she's a shell of her former self. If AMC casts Beth Ehlers, good for her.
