Guild D-25 vintage back replacement with scalloped bracing 

This is just a little overview of a guitar that I just finished rebuilding, while keeping the original patina.  it had a lot of cracks in the back and was in pretty rough shape, but definitely worth repairing and hot rodding a little bit.

This is interesting, I have a Guild D4 that sounds overbuilt. I think it could sound better than it does so I am watching and reading everything I can on scalloping braces.

Hotrod it! They are overbraced. Lighten it up a bit and listen to it reach it’s potential!
