i regret even playing WoW and FF14 for so many years instead of just staying wih Gw2 back in the day when it was released, now that i came back after almost 10 years i got a lot to catch up on and Janthir Wilds is really nice and a for me a day and night comparison to SotO which i have a love / hate relationship with, i really liked the mage / castle / scholar stuff and the first zones where we visit parts of the previous expansions but i really dislike / even hated the whole kryptis part and their entire zone. In Janthir so far i like everything except the spear cuz i play warrior. xD

It's downright awful. Uninspired, boring, and lacking in content. Avoid avoid AVOID. It's abundantly clear that ANet only has a couple people working on GW2 anymore.

Captain obvious, considering that their main focus shifted to making Guild Wars 3, of course they have only a few people working on this, it's not really news But anyway, I disagree, it's not awful, Janthir Wilds is a great expansion and the upcoming updates with the additional content are just gonna make it even better. No wonder that they're reporting that the expac sold extremely well too, even better than SotO, so if it was awful people wouldn't be buying it

and you are downright wrong, it's far from awful, just play FF14 Dawntrail expansion then you'll know what awful really is, or play WoW Shadowlands. Janthir Wilds so far is great.
