I absolutely love the guild wars 2 soundtracks even long after the game fades away these will stay with me forever. Its so rare games put such love into their music. The also tend to know how pick the perfect soundtracks for situations through the story in game so perfectly too. In most of these your mind instantly snaps to a moment in the story or specific area in the game.

Most people who ventured into the jungle had never dealt with enemies that posed more threat than punching bags so it was cool mixture of "how to survive" and "how do i get there without mastery" for few months. Tangled depths meta was hardest open world group content so far, but even that got easened

"Lornar's Pass" made me bleeding and then "Farahr" punished me and made me leave Aion in 2013 which I played since closed beta. Still playing, still rememember I was close to cry at the Ascalon Basin's shore listening "Farahr" very first time. Awesome music, for sure

Guild Wars (GW1 & GW") and Elder Scrolls (all TES games) both are such unique interesting beautiful fantasy worlds both lorewise, in terms of creature design, world design and music and ambience. Even though Soule isn't the best personality I always admired his work in music

Also I'm more and more amzaed how much better the soundtrack got from HoT until. The new OST people are doing an amazing job and I wait for each new update just because of the music alone as it gets so much better. My absolute favorites by far are Dragonflight. Aurene Dragon Full of Light and the theme during the last LSS4 cutscene when Aurene ascended. They made me tear up

Unfortunately, I only had the original soundtrack on-hand as reference as it was the only one I ever purchased and it's a painful reminder of how I'm missing out on some really great music. HoT in particular had amazing tracks with some great instrumentation. Love this game so much. Hope it will survive a few more years. Little worried that anet lost a lot of talent and will loose connection to future game trends, if they don´t come up with something new. Maybe it´s just my paranoia though. The playerbase seems pretty stable as it is.
