To be honest, Enmasse ruined Tera for me. Continually dumbing down the storyline and the content and giving you those 100% crit weapons and completely nerfing BAMS into loot pinatas killed any sort of fascination for me. Not to mention the newer classes that became simpler and simpler but pumped more dps or utility than any of the standard ones that took more work to master. Lancer? Nah bruh just be a brawler that can dps AND tank easier than a warrior ever could. Also the non-cumulative achievement points constantly resetting your Laurels and them removing dungeons I used to enjoy killed the fun for me as well. Sure GW2's dungeons are collecting dust but Anet hasn't ever removed them.

there are two very important aspects that I like in GW2: the combat system and the fact that we can help each other in the game without affectting other players loot, rewards or achievments GW2 is the MMO that has significantly raised my personal expectations of other MMOs and my benchmark against which this genre as a whole has to be measured ..... and that's a very high hurdle, even if not everything is always only perfect with GW2

This! Remember rolling on gear drops for raids/group content? You just don't do that in GW2. And things like not having to compete to complete objectives when running in the open world because you get event credit via participation (which sometimes is wonky, but for the most part is good). If someone kills something and you healed them, got a hit, or granted a boon, you get credit for the kill as well. :)

Thank you. I was gonna comment on this video that Guild Wars 2 is just about more fancy pixels and less hassle with Mounts (which would be stupid of me seeing as I've only played a few hours) but your comment made me reconsider the game again because if there is one thing I don't like about WoW it's their dated combat. I like WoW but that combat can be so boring. I guess Guild Wars 2 is pretty fun after all.

Not sure if you have seen it yet, but there is a guild just for griffon fun. They are called [WING] and have a lot of crazy videos about what is possible with flying, challenging themselfes with obsticles in their guild hall to train. It's really impressive.

I've been playing both WoW and GW2 since they came out. Back then I was a kid so I had more time to spend on these games. But now with a job, kids etc I only have the time to play very casually. I love GW2, because I can still enjoy the game and not burden others, while not playing all that regularly. With WoW these days I feel like all I do is rush to catch up on the million new currencies and daily areas. Resubscribed to WoW a few days ago and I'm already tired of it - I feel like I'm cramming for exams. Bought End of Dragons yesterday and I feel like I'm actually having fun.

Well I'm not married but I'm to old for this shit :))) when you pass 30 years, you begin the realise that time flies. Why play a game like wow, that takes ages just to feel a little accomplishment, and even if you get what you want....a new patch will come and ruin your Hard work. Until you find out how much stuff is gated or just made intentionally worse by a paywall. Living world maps - paywall, intentionally worse inventory storage for bags, bank, and material stack cap - paywall, character slots - paywall. And let's not forget you can buy gold directly for gems and nearly every mount skin is only obtainable through the store. Yeah no sins in the game here, I love being nickle and dimed to receive a finished product.

Last year when i first booted up GW2 i felt something no other mmorpg did to me in a long time : I felt joy, excitement and fun. I felt i was smiling while playing, and in the end, that's what game should be about. I've droped all other MMO i used to play to only play GW2 all days long. I came back to GW2 after 9 years and my ascended gear is still as good as it used to be. It feels so good that I can catch up with all the expansions already having top quality equipment. (not taking legendaries into consideration as thats a whole new grind)

I've been playing since launch and can remember the pain before everything was account bound. I literally lost expensive items and skins because i deleted characters or things were strictly soul bound early in the game.

WoW vanilla vet, played every expac, Guild Wars 2 10 year vet since BETAs. Id choose GW2 any day. Heres why: No gear treadmill. You get ascended and its account bound. Legendary armor/weapons are usable by any character that you have at 80. No server downtime. Unless a freak accident or minor error happens. Bugs exists, but when fixed its patched, and requires no downtime like wow every Tuesday for hours. No subscription. They make their money from the gem store and expac purchases. None of it is pay to win. Hell on expac 50% off sales, you can buy 10 years of content for ONE month of WoW or FF14 Friendly, one for all mentality. People help each other. Resource Nodes are shared. Mobs are shared. Loot is personal loot. Try finding that in WoW. Mounts actually serve a purpose. And each one has a set job. No feature creep. You don't gain legendary amulets just to render them useless next expac. Multiple guilds. You can be a part of a giant community instead of just one per character. All features tend to be account bound like fashion, mounts, dyes, and more There's so much more I can list but the point is there. Welcome to GW2 :)

Here's a hot take; WoW ruined WoW for you. Blizzard killed their fanbase with complacency, killed their talent and reputation with rampant harassment, and doesn't deserve your or anybody else's money. I played that game for way too long, the nostalgia is definitely there, but I will never go back. WoW killed itself and it was the only thing that could; it had to die for people to play other games so that MMO players could see what they were missing and set a new standard. GW2 is not a perfect game by any means, but the level of quality and passion they put into their game shows through the experience. Its a dope game, and I'd rather give anet money than buy Bobby Kotick any more martinis for a lifeless nostalgia-simulator developed in an abusive work environment.

For me it's the combat system. Other mmo's would need to add (or re-add) moving while casting, casting certain skills simultaneously, melee cleave, and all the dodging/mobility that allows you to react to danger in GW2 for me to even think of playing them seriously.

The combat in GW2 is amazing. It was nice finding out my #1 skill attacks multiple enemies when I first started the game. Most attacks in GW2 are “aoe”. It’s just standard. BIG DAMAGE SPLASHES NEVER GET OLD. Lol.

Honorable mentions: guild wars created their maps to be used with the mounts as you go higher up in level but that they give you these mounts as you level and once you do it on one toon, you have it for all, the mounts die when they save your life from different things but they are immediately accessible again if you need it, the mounts have different skills you can spend time leveling up as a grind itself but it’s made enjoyable through the game, the maps are created to enjoy the mounts using their abilities for fun like beetle racing tracks,griffon runs to practice the abilities etc, YOU CAN INSTA-MOUNT as long as your not in combat AND switch between mounts mid walk depending on your terrain need!, constant new items every few months you can buy with gems that are NOT RESKINNED, there’s jumping puzzles through the maps that you can find just from exploring the maps, there’s so many different grinds/achievements for every persons taste (skyscale, completing all jumping puzzles, sitting in hidden chairs throughout the entire game, legendary weapons, map completion etc) all at your own pace so you don’t feel like you have to rush on everyday to get stuff done like a chore list (minus bounty’s if your grinding and need to kill a certain thing but there’s timers for that), the game PROMOTES and encourages players to play together like meta events and mastery/hero point trains so you are actually playing with other people, they don’t call it FASHION WARS for nothing (you can change the colors of your freaking transmog! to match your weapons/mount), you can change your colors on your mounts! OR buy insane skins to change the way your mount looks entirely!!!!), there’s always an incentive to help other players complete things knowing you will also get rewards and your never irrelevant in the game when you log on, the last thing I can think of: the people who play guild wars are EXTREMELY supportive, team oriented and friendly. I have never in my life played a game where people WANTED to help me or res me as soon as I’m seen down on the map. The players in this game are a different breed than wow. With wow I felt people were to themselves, I feel wow made it exclusive and difficult to connect with people due to how the mythic key system (unless you were a top player spending hours everyday playing, you wouldn’t get accepted into a key even if your life depended on it, leaving elite players to choose who can actually play the game), selfish and rude, general chat was horrible and people were nasty to each other and not helpful. I immediately noticed a different mindset when I started playing guild wars and after all this time, it’s NEVER changed. The caliber of players is amazing hands down. I will never go back to Wow now that I play GW. Wow could never get like GW. Everytime I learn something new or see a new place in GW or discover something so random and cool or some random achievement list I never new existed pops up, I just laugh at how cheesy and cringe and barely thought out Wow is and that I’m so glad I am not wasting my time anymore and money on such a horrible game. GW delights you through its intuitiveness, maps and little surprises as you just play the game and enjoy it. Wow was a stressful anxiety ridden game that you never feel you could keep up with but were PAYING FOR! It’s crazy. Sorry for the rant but I want people to read this with your video and want to try it out. It’s so worth it.

Definitely no contest between Wow and GW2. I've played GW2 since launch and I played GW1 before that. A friend and I were just talking this morning about the fact that when you gear up a character it doesn't just immediately become obsolete in the next update or expansion. It IS all about fashion and the ArenaNet team does a great job in making sure every player can be wearing something completely different and still have great stats. I could stop playing for a year or two, and come back in and my gear will still be just as good as when I stopped playing. There are so many ways to customize how your character looks and it's one of the things I love most about the game. Another thing I love about GW2 is there is no "impossible high end content" and when meta events or world bosses happen, you can just jump in. There's no pressure of looking for a group, or forced socialization if you prefer playing solo. GW2 is very solo friendly.

Actually, I do have to contest you on the last point: GW2 does have a "End Content" (not Fractals, as you can solo them with patience) that can't be solo dealt with, known as Raids/Strikes To make matter worse, most of the "Raid Squads" you attemp to join demand you to play a specific way or won't even accept you I have been playing since the launch and never ever have I found a Squad willing to accept me without immediately kicking afterwards because I'm a "Minion Master" Necromancer based on Soldier's gear (Power, Toughness and Vitality) And I don't even want to farm Raids, I just want to do all of them once! I visited the Underworld on GW1, let me do it the same on GW2...

Skyscale is pretty easy actually, most people that were there when Dragonfall went live got it inside of a week, and it only took that long cause some quest bits were time-gated, which my wife did hers after I had mine and some of that was already removed in week 2, her path was quicker to it. Griffon is probably a bit harder but not really, its just 250 gold. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.

If you like mounts, you will also like it the mastery from Living World Season 4, where you can get the ability to dismount with a launch (doing with skyscale/springer and mount the griffon in midair. In Icebrood saga, when you will arrive in Drizzlewood Coast (good farming map) to unlock United Legion Station mastery, which has stealth for your mounts. I will believe that you will get your Skyscale. It will take a while, but with determination and will plus with a helpful guide. you will accomplish that. Best place to farm cash, (if you dont have griffon or skyscale) would be RIBA in the sliverwastes, or the metas from HoT maps (Tangled Depths > Auric Basin)

The Endless Gear Grind Treadmill killed FFXIV for me too. Worked my guts out grinding every day to get the top tier end level gear for 3 months then Bang ! New patch, all your gear is obsolete ! Now do it all again, have fun ! I could never go back to an MMO that had one.

World is big, people actually use emotes and talk to each other, housing is very decent, hell i even got married in the game with my now girlfriend. I stopped playing because i got tired of constantly having to chase ilvl, but when i was playing it was very immersive rpg experience. That said, the community is a little too cultish, they worship Yoshi-P as much as fans of Hideo Kojima worship him, only seeing the good things and disregarding negatives. Hell, Guild Wars 2 has ruined some SINGLEPLAYER GAMES for me. I played Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition several months back and found it baffling next to the MMORPG I log in regularly. What is this static open world that feels like nothing is going on? What do you mean you can't just fight enemies underwater and you have to lure fishes to the shores and fight them there? What do you mean you have to run on foot with no added mobility from some kind of rideable? What do you mean you can't use items in combat but you still have a hard trinity and you are soft-enforced to bring a healer into any boss fight? What do you mean there is a global cooldown despite being an offline singleplayer game with no need to prevent clients causing DDOS from spamming skill requests? XBCDE is a singleplayer RPG, yet every aspect of its gameplay is inferior to this MMORPG with all of the inherent limitations of a MMORPG.

Maaaan you will love the endgame then! Learning proccs of auras, combo fields, animation cancels, skill buffering, buff stacking... There is so much depth you can explore and the best part... you can decide HOW to play. You can create builds that use some of these mechanics, some dont, some use them all... your choice and playstyle (and all can be viable/competitive too)! And then you can get better and better at it learning some fantastic ways to synergize them with others or with the map.

Different types of games. Some people enjoy gear treadmills and some people play for purely the experience. GW2 is amazing, but has little interest for gear progression. Once you have Ascended… you’re done, legendaries are more novelty and dont provide any better stats, just a way to change stats that you prefer; which farming those are worse than most WoW catch ups. WoW provides an intense carrot on a stick to keep you working towards some kind of gear goal. You are basically in one category or the other in terms of games. GW2 by far has the better combat mechanics though.

Yeah, but imagine grinding that legendary gear, and losing it when the next expac hit. You gain gear for that accounts life and it will never become obsolete. Especially now with the armory, where if you unlock any legendary armor, or any legendary weapon, it unlocks for any class that can use it. Ill trade that over toxic loot councils and RNG any day.

I see what your saying, but legendary WoW items are typically easier to get as a trade off now and improve your combat as a whole.

It also provides all stats that you can swap to, an easy way to swap out infusions and runes, has a function where you can swap all stats to your chosen stat instead of going to each individual piece and changing them by hand, and also it looks fantastic but if you chose to reskin it to something else for fashion reasons it doesn't use a transmutation charge. By all means the reasons above make it more than amazing to get in end game.

If you enjoy a gear treadmill then you’ll probably enjoy WoW more long term, if you want something more engaging in combat then you’ll probably end up enjoying GW2. It’s ok to enjoy them both for entirely different reasons as they are very different. Edit: oddly I looked at it appears that Ascended is still on par with Legendary equipment, so not sure if anything has changed, but they seem identical in terms of stats. Just that they can be swapped.

I don't want a gear treadmill, and is why I prefer gw2 over wow on top many other reasons I prefer GW2. Legendary armor and ascended armor are account bound and there for good. I prefer the grind to get them over the constant regear and losing best in slot after every expansion.

I've been playing MMOs since early EQ and UO days, and GW2 since just a few months after its initial release. Whenever I try to play other games (most recently ESO) I find myself constantly comparing their flaws to GW2 - "Man, I wish they'd copy this feature from GW2" - and I eventually end up going back to GW2. The combination of everything GW2 does right - mounts, competitive trading post and currency exchange, build and gear storage system, emphasis on buildcraft over gear grind, fashion et al - simply can't be beat by any other game in my experience.

WoW wont change anytime soon. They might add player housing or new classes/specs or whatever, but the gameloop wont change. It will always be daily grinds and gear grinds up until the next patch, then you start the loop over again. Best option imo would be to put wow on life support and work on a new modernised game, though i reckon the blizzard of today would just fuck it up anyways

The Mount systhem of GW2 is the reason I came every time back... Just to fly/race again with my mounts some trails against my friends. This pure joy of just mount it and race with it... + Costemiesing my own Mounts and clothes... Are things that iam missing in WoW Yes you have some color options of the same model but... When you unique transmogg it comes often to colliding with your Fantasie and choice options.... Besides you won't look like a clown with 5 red colour variants

I played WOW since Cata but you are right. Endless gear and weapons chains plus with every new expansion you lost and had to relearn flying. What a pain and they were always time gated. I tried out Wow Classic but was disappointed that they were going to add back expansions past level 60. I’ve played GW2 occasionally but with the new expansion, Im actually enjoying and playing it more. I boosted a level 80 Mesmer and having a blast in Crystal Desert story and zone. Plan getting the Mirage line done, then move to the newest zone. MMO play is fun again.

Griffon is the best mount imo. U can hover forever or climb as high as u wish. It can be faster then the beatle. U can perma evade. Get urself a hight boost with springer (charge up the jump and demount slightly before he launches) no mastery needed. I had so much fun spending almost endless hrs flying it almost everywhere and i still love it. Sadly my old guild [Sky] is kinda innactive nowadays but i read in comments other guilds keep that spirit of enjoying flying alive :) I wish u alot of fun hrs in this game. Also the best PvP/WvW i've ever played sadly not very much variety off builds but u cant have it all.

I stopped playing wow a year ago. Been playing GW2 for a year. I wouldn't say GW2 has ruined WoW for me. I did end up going back to WoW, but still play GW2 as well. Agree with the mounts indeed! I will say for me, one reason I went back to WoW is the gear progression, I know the horizontal can be great in GW2. I just am use to vertical when it comes to gear. You can call it the carrot on the stick thing i guess. But I enjoy a lot about GW2 and still play. I am not tribalistic with mmorpgs, meaning I only can like one and defend that one mmorpg till the end. Anyway that is my 2 cents. I enjoy both games for different reasons.

But I still love to compete at the highest level. Guild wars 2 completely opened my eyes. I can rank in competitive pvp, end game raid and still have a life 😂 Guild Wars 2 is the best MMO for those that want to play, compete and collect but can’t commit dozens of hours each week.

Gw2 got everything right except the business model affects loot in the game. I've played GW2 for quite some time and due to not exciting loot system, I've took long breaks. I do believe the future is a combination of small sub(5 dollars or so) to keep development consistent, pay(buy expansions) to play, with some in game store elements for cosmetics, quality of life. Blizzard should have prepared for Wow2, but implement what GW2 did with GW1. If you had a GW1 account, some titles and items transferred over, which is not obtainable in GW2 itself. This would keep current Wow going, while Wow 2 is developed, but hopefully they implement all the good stuff from different MMO's(lost ark included, which is the current game I play). A MMO with Elden Rings combat would be awesome.

Agreed, people saying "it's not that bad" are overlooking the tedious and pointless grind of getting the skyscale that is like rubbing sandpaper on your eyes unless you enjoy like that kind of thing. The first half is actually fun when you are raising your skyscale from an egg but then ANet decided to throw in a bunch of pointless, timegated baloney. There one part where you can use gold (buying 'treats') to shortcut some of the tedious steps, they should have done it with ALL of the boring parts.

Being able to fly is an amazing mechanic in any game and it multiplies the amount of fun for players when they get the mount. But ANet decided to bury a mechanic that improves the fun of their game behind a tedious and pointless timesink. It's the worst kind of MMO design where the game expects players to go through boring garbage in order to have fun. This outdated philosophy of "Kill 1000 rats" game design should have been abandoned by MMOs years ago.

1. Combat... It's too good to give up. Been a player consistently since beta. 2. No Sub fee 3. Customization is insane. So many dyes/appearances. 4. Horizontal Progression. I have 27 completely geared-to-the-teeth characters for their own unique purposes that never become obsolete. 5. There is always something to do. Game is quite Vast (though this might be overwhelming for newer players). 6. Legendary Armory is one of the coolest things I've ever seen been done to a game. 7. I truly enjoy all areas of the game. I was a wow player from 2004 to 2021, obviously with ups and downs. In some periods I was able to stay on track, others for business reasons not. In fact, the sensation is precisely that of feeling abandoned. After a month or two months of absence you come back and everything becomes obsolete, you have to run to recover and it becomes a stress, not fun anymore. I am swiping in gw2 these days. It's hard, also because I'm not familiar with English, but I feel the potential of gw2 which is able to excite and reward.

Actually Skyscale is not that hard. There's a ton of guides everywhere on the web, the only shitty thing is that there are daily missions and your "cub" has to rest so the collection takes a week to complete. Not because it's hard, but because the number of things you can do per day is capped. But it's so very worth it, once you get it, you will (almost) never use the other mounts.

I strongly disagree about (almost) never using the other mounts. The skyscale is very useful in certain situations, but the others excel in their field and remain very relevant (and usualy much faster). Also. don't feel the need to rush with getting the skyscale. Enjoy the journey, and your satisfaction (and the connection you will feel with your mount) will be stronger. You can get the SKycake only once, so do it right :) That's one of the (very) few non repetable content in the game.

On the topic of mounts. You do have to do a short quest to unlock them. In case of raptor, springer, skimmer and jackal you do a heart quest where you get to ride them and learn what they can do. Thats a pretty good way of unlocking mounts IMO. In case of griphon, beetle, skyscale, turtle you go on a journey of acquiring them (for example you need to grow and take care of your skyscale when its just a baby dragon). Its not that difficult, gw2 players are just used to getting everything for minimal amount of effort.

Both horde and alliance are very welcoming and goldshire has a party going 24/7. But once again, the entire world is empty. If you go anywhere else except dragon isles there is nobody. Yes wow was grindy as hell before, but it felt like a metaverse. cause we talked in-game, didnt use discord and be in isolated voip channels. That's what an mmo should be. A metaverse. The devs forgot this.

Skyscale is not that bad. It can be a bit boring but it’s not hard. Getting the mats might be much, but they added an achievement that as you do all the maps it will give you all the mats needed for the skyscale. So it’s easier now then it’s ever been.

I mean, a lot of people looked at the panda expansion and dipped out because of superficial reasons but most people who actually played the expac would tell you that WoW has rarely been as good. One of the best expacs for sure. I've played GW2 since launch. Never quit, just took breaks every now and again. I think that's what's great about an MMO like GW2. You can dip out and do something else for awhile and then come back whenever you feel like it without feeling like you lost out. The biggest thing is just living world updates costing gems if you weren't around when they launched. Never had to deal with that personally since I've always made sure to at least login after a new patch... but I do hope the gem gating gets deleted. I think if Anet wants to be seen as a consumer friendly company they can't gem gate stuff locks people out of content. Expansions are fine. That's to be expected... but not Living World updates.

I left WoW not long after BFA was announced as it didn't appeal to me at all. I've been playing GW2 ever since, with a couple breaks for FFXIV. The things I miss most about WoW are the races, classes, weapon and armor skins, and the wide variety of mounts/pets. And hunter pets. I keep thinking of more things I miss. The subscription is NOT one of them. If they did away with that, I'd probably play it sporadically. They also need to make it so all achievements and currencies are account wide.

I picked up GW2 about half a year ago when twitch prime poked its head into my monthly loot and said "psst, you wanna buy GW2, both expansions, and some extra goodies, for just 15 bucks? I have played both games for many years now. They both have things I like and dislike about them. Mounts are more visually varied in WoW then they are in GW2 as each GW2 mount is built on the same skeleton. But GW2 mounts actually have more of a practical use in combat unlike the WoW mounts that only helps you travel faster to combat. What WoW can do about that is to divide the mounts in the game in to different categories like they have done with Battle Pets and then give each category a unique benefit.

The only thing WoW has going for them is that their instanced content releases are more frequent compared to GW2, though it's starting to change with GW2's new expansion that's bringing in new Strike CMs every few months at this moment, but only time will tell if they'll keep that going for the rest of the expansion, and if we'll see new fractals and/or raids anytime soon.

I think the epic open world meta events are hella cool. And about better or worse gear grind, I like that gw2 made the playing field even. Everybody has the same gear more or less, but even if they do, when you look at numbers one person may be doing five or even ten times more than the next party/squad member in terms of damage or buffing or debuffing the enemy. It all comes down to player skill in gw2. If you're done with gearing up may be it's time to get better at what your class can actually do and push it to its limit. I mean face rolling on keyboard can bring only so much fun.

You don't get one shot if you play exotic in raids instead of ascended... since the defensive stats almost don't change in most of the builds. Also, when you get one shot in raids, it's because you fail mechanics and your gear makes no difference. Fractals is an other story but it's only because of agony resistance, not because of stats. Of course it's still better to play ascended in organized end game, but more for dps gain (around 10-15%) than resistance gain (close to 0).

Hi, XIV fanboi here. You're valid and I want you to know. MOST other MMO's that are out are better than WoW. Even if Scaly Isles is a decent expac, the likelihood of the devs turning around from the decade of debilitating decisions that influence the core of what WoW is probably won't bring about the change it really needs and could easily knock aside this roadblock and keep going on with it's downward descent. A little TLC from other Devs can make their games better, but you're gonna need more than that for WoW to be good again. I'm glad you moved on and found a new game that you like. Enjoy.

And that's not even so bad. It's fine, you get to see your lil' dragon grow etc. Yes sure you needs some mats (Wich btw is totally trivial to get with season of the dragon achievement reward ;) ) Heard lot of people bitching about it, but in the end, it's nothing more than getting the thing done in a relax way. In most game it would be a crazy RNG grind fest or a 1 year long grind for a recolor or event forcing you to do raid just to get a rebranded boss as a mount lol. Nothing mean, but i think that the skyscale grind is just fine and deliver a good reward for the effort you put in tbh. Much love :D

My turn I've just switched from WoW last week to GW2 after 1,5yr or so. Spent 2months playing latest WoW dlc- I play it as a nostalgic. I'm a casual/"my own entertainment" player so most of the game content is omitted. I just follow the main campaign quest line (which is really fun and interesting) and that allows me to keep my lvl up safely and more efficient than pure grind. I don't play PvP (I suck and I know it) so Arenas and BGs are off the table. On low lvls any Dungs if you are DPS role you can skipp as the queue takes ages- Healers are almost instant and tanks have to also wait few minutes. GW2 is much cheaper at first and what I have spent on the latest DLC plus 2 months subs I could easily afford the latest DLC for GW2 :( No party needed to share quest. You may forget about instances as there are a lot of map events that you can colaborate with other players and jump in in the middle of it :) But the best part in lvling IMO is the Map Completion- it forces you to discover every inch of the map you are on to get a special reward. And even If I hit the max lvl on that map and I can now progress to the next location I will spend next 2hrs to discover all POI, Vistas and teleport spots just to complete the whole map. There are more to discover for me yet. My only regret is the style of the graphics- I personally don't feel this paintbrush look style. If they could use the Horadrims Cube and merge those two games it would be awesome :)

I think ultimately WoW got what it had coming for a while. Unsustainable design, together with unwillingness to change things based on feedback, led it to where it is now. Even in the Dragonflight teaser, they've shown that they've basically absorbed things from GW2, but they didn't do it in a way that makes sense. The new dragon, that's a carbon copy of the skyscale, already doesn't interest me at all, because it practically invalidates every other mount i've ever collected

Good look getting Blizzard to approach their products the way ArenaNet does. Blizzard developers don't care about their players' time. When you log into your Guild Wars 2 account you don't have to play for 3 hours or more to feel like you're actually having fun, making progress in whatever you wanna do and making the most out of the game. It feels like ArenaNet actually cares about people's freedom and time... Now that I think about it, that might be the reason why the Blizzard community is known for its toxicity; a bunch of people feeling like they've got no choice but to play as soon as they have some free time so they can make the most out of their subscription. Soon after WoW came out , their pets ( hunters pets ), anyway, did used to have unique abilities, which made collecting them interesting and useful. The Shaman and Paladin classes in particular, were quite unique to the other classes. The Shaman could only be played by the horde. Each race had race abilities that were significant and unique though not hugely so. But, after a time, WoW shied away from unique, and interesting and put everything in a blender ... boring ( cue Sheogorath's voice )

Edit: also I am still bummed that my Drake of the Northwind is no longer special in WoW because you can buy skins and that it does not breath fire. GW2 also forces you to buy mount skins but at least they do stuff.

Don't agree with rasses. Wow has more diverse types than gw2. But classes for sure more original. Thief-mage, war-buffer with warhorn where can you find this kind of stuff?)

@@loadscreen1011 While your are right WoW has more diverse races but besides appearance and racial skills they don't really play all that differently from each other. On the other hand GW2 races all have very unique animations to each race even similar ones like nords and humans.

You got a sub for this video! In return you need to go get your Skyscale. Use Tekkits to help with the collections and it is easy enough. Then realise that WoW have copied the animations and flight of the griffin and skyscale with their new Dragonflight expansion. Imitation is the greatest form of flattery after all…

Wore out warcraft. Same repetitive madness. You work hard for gear, and then a expansion, blowing all your hard work to hell and you have to do the dungeon grind all over again. Maps, terrains, buildings, cobblestones on the ground all look the same, new maps looks just as old and the same as the others. Four trays of spells to handle. Left warcraft just before pandaria was released. Since gear score was implemented, players became overnight elitist monsters overnight, the community turning toxic. In chat they would say "YOU WILL BE INSPECTED" "KNOW YOUR FIGHTS" Kiss my ass. Went to GW2 at launch and never looked back. There are worlds outside warcraft.
