Excellent video and good for new players =) One thing that is good to mention are the newer unidentified gear. I watch a lot of videos from new players on youtube. They often salvage them straight off without having a clue what they are or that they even contain gear and should and should be opened first and then salvaged.

Fun fact: You don´t really need to do any extra events in Silverwastes. The Vinewrath meta alone will give you the max (5) event cap towards the map Magic Find (a.k.a Perseverance) once finished (granted you take part from start to finish of course :D ). -Phy

You dont HAVE to. But you can. Also video does not specify that magic find affected containers will drop gear of level it was farmed on. So all those blue unidentified bags will result in lvl80 gear even with lvl50 character.

It was unnecessary information for new players imo so I left it out because when you go to sw for max mf you do it with lvl 80 anyway:-) It actually works that way with other than unidentified bags. Afaik all (or at least in PvE) bags affected by mf always give lvl 80 items.

Correction for 3:30 - it is not always mentioned in description. PvP and WvW master bags (bags that you get from reward tracks directly) are affected by magic find, but do not mention it in the description. wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Magic_Find forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/pvp/Magic-Find-PvP-Mystery-Chest/page/1#post3875950 Basically master bags, ones you get from track directly, are affected by MF. Bags that you get after opening those master bags, are not affected by MF. From what I know PvP and WvW bags like that are the only exception of the rule "if it has affected by MF in description". *Edit:* This is why during PvP tournaments\events you see MF bonus in PvP lobby. That would be meaningless if there is nothing affected by MF in PvP.

Does your character who opens the bags that are not affected by magic find have to be lvl 53 exactly (seems like a weird number) or is it just approximately around that lvl?

You can check the most optimal level here: silverwastes.loltools.net/index.html It slightly changes over time but 53 is optimal mostly.

I think the only thing not addressed was MF'ing high level golds for chances at precursors. Not great odds, but it's a decision of making money vs legendary.

Throwing random golds into the forge is a really bad idea if you looking for profit:-) In days where ppl use perma upgrade extractor + exo method it's waste of money:-)

Yeah. Like I said, it's a profit vs. legendary pursuit decision. I still do a little of both. In years of playing I've gotten 1 precursor from the forge. I guess they have the collections now that are probably a better way to go at that.

there are many ways to get gold most efficient now is farming Domain of Istan (well the best thing to do is pay attention to the auction but that is not for everyone). For Tekkit here, he is an og player and has many hours played on the game so with his overall knowledge I would not be surprised him to do the auction :) OR he is just buying gold with the millions he is making from YT :D Pozdravy zo Slovenska Tekkit!! Terrible advice to tell players to buy the copper o matic. You can trade 600 gems for hundreds of gold pieces. Ircc it takes hundreds of thousands pieces of gear to actually get the benefit

Yeah it's a convenience matter, if you don't have to stop and start, it's better to get the copper salvage-o-matic.
