Hoping to create a new story after Jokos demise in Battle of Gandarra. Archon Iberu was taken out in Fortress of Jahai (dunno if he will come back) and the Awakened was freed from the compulsion of obeying Joko. Most of the awakened and the sunspears has joined with Crystal Bloom. Currently there are few loyalist who believes that Joko might return and Grand Vizier Utumishi somewhat left his position. So what is left that will threaten Elona? Probably thinking of is the Scarab Plague that ended the Primeval Dynasty Era. We still don't know what caused it from the beggining.

Yeah, he's not a good guy, not by any measure. We as players can laugh at it, find his inhumanity and megalomania so outrageous its funny. But when you think about it, you see the mirroring of the darkest days in human history - then the mirth evaporates. In many ways the story of Joko is a cautionary tale - making a deal with the devil will always bite you in the tenders.

Am i the only one who is wondering if Joko was the one who set free the scarab plaque in the first place? Because Nalah an Dalah say something like that they were miscounselled when the plaque broke out the first time, when you meet them the first time in the tombs. I thought, maybe it was Joko's first attempt to take over Elona? Just my thoughts...

You should head to the Tomb of Primeval Kings - I do not want to spoil the story but I think you will find NPCs and a POF story moment there which should clarify the lore for you.
