Thanks for making this, very nicely put together and narrated. I adore the Sylvari. When narrating to the microphone, can I suggest directing your voice just off centre to the microphone? It avoids the 'puh' when saying your Pees and will allow a softer sound :3

The lore of guild wars boils down to "One day tyria was doing great but then the gods showed up and shoved the humans into the mix. ensuring that they would steal from every race as their empires expanded. But thankfully the gods gave them magic because muh OC race do not steal. Then the writers went "This makes them look too bad" and retconned that the charr would attack them constantly."

Humanity does not come off too well tbh I agree. One could argue that they were the puppets of their Gods. Taken from their home world, put on another and then driven by Balthazar to monstrous and murderous acts to fan his lunatic ego.

Its always been one of those things that i feel that they don't play with enough. GW1 always made the gods feel alien to some degree, like whatever their end goal was with the humans, wasn't necessarily to the humans benefit. Its also reinforced because of the disposition both Dhuum and Abaddon had at the begining. Grenth wasn't always the "just god" and Balthazar's brother wasn't that great of a guy either. So it seems like some of the gods at the very least had purely parasitic intentions for the humans they brought over. I mean until they write it, it doesn't matter how something feels. But I think it is a fun pandora's box of story stuff should they ever touch on it.

Good job once again, my only complaint is that somtimes I get lost easily because I haven't played all that much so somethings are not very clear to me. The only thing I can give you is to check out one of my other favorite lore channel, his name is "my name is byf" he makes these really great lore videos from a game that has a really hard way of finding out the lore of the universe. He makes it really understandable and tells it in a way like you. Anyways keep it up ok! I'll wait to see your next video!

It drives me mad that they just dropped the loose end that is Malyck. I read that they WERE going to do something with him, then were like "nah". It's like, come on guys ... You put him in game already. So do something with it!!! Edit: Aife= ayf Niamh= neeve They're real Irish Celtic names. My sylvari ele is named Niamh. I also really like the names Siobhan (Shivan) and Saoirse (shersha). Edit Edit: I'm curious to know what the afterlife is like for Sylvari.

Arena Net! You have to hire this person as a voice actor for some trailers! Your voice and diction of GW2 story is absolutely stunning. And more than this but your knowledge of the lore would make you perfect for a side project such as some more deep lore-focused trailers. Also great job on the content of the video. I always hesitated to make a sylvari and now I absolutely want to make one. This might have already been done but I would love if you could do a similar video covering Charr Society!

It's very interesting how different tastes can be. I had to stop watching because I really disliked her voice. I had the feeling she is super sad and sounded weak and hurt. It really distracted me :'D A little less mysterious whispering and more confidence would make it perfect. It is a beautiful voice but the speaking seems a bit overacted in my(!) opinion.

I really want to see your videos, the quality of your editing and the overall content seem really good, however the volume of your voice, the passionless narration and the loud noises you make when pronouncing certain syllables(like when someone whispers words like "Jungle" or "TRee") keeps me from doing it. The whisper-like noises are especially distracting and become annoying when trying to turn up the volume. This is just my feedback.
