Would you have any idea of the damage of a sword/sword only bench? I am aware you cannot upkeep fireworks permanently and it deals less overall damage . However, I was wondering incase it's around the 38-39k ballpark, could it see some play in some encounters where the range and pierce are useful and make up for some of the lost dps via more dps uptime?

hey mate, i was wondering what are the bis pve second hand combo. I would appreciate if you can tell me plus and minuses of dagger/torch - dagger/sword (which u use on dummy) / staff / dagger-warhorn (for breakbar damage) don't know if breakbar damage is a plus enough to take warhorn

Hello, As of right now, I would say offhand sword is the best option for damage. Sword 4 does good damage and sword 5 is decent while providing some life force. Not using a sword won't be a massive damage loss. You can look at the older videos and see they're only ~500-1000 dps behind. The issue with the other options is more than they don't do much better than the dagger/offhand sword combo. Offhand sword has 1.5s of fear. This is the equivalent of ~150 defiance damage. Torch has 200 hard defiance damage, which is good for fast bars like the Qadim hydra and destroyer. The strike damage from the skills are not very high, so they are not worth using over greatsword abilities. Warhorn has a mix of 100 hard defiance damage and 1s fear. In total, warhorn does about the same amount of defiance damage as torch, but half of it is with fear. Warhorn 4 also takes ~50% longer to cast than torch 5 or sword 5.

with the launch of the new expac i dont see power reaper anymore in the benchmark list on the snowcrows website, did it get nerfed hard? or is it still very good? im thinking to get back to GW2 and play reaper but im not sure about the class now.

Question. On both this and your harbinger builds you exit shroud offten before life force is fully drained. How do you time that? I know crows says in rotation 4 auto attack cycles but how can you even count that. Moves so quick and the swings look alike. Anyway thanks for these videos. Its nice to see builds in action then just read a long text log.

On reaper you can count auto attack cycles easier by the CD reduction you get on your other skills after completing each auto chain. The time between each Death's Charge (Shroud 2) is always naturally going to be 2x Auto chains or Soul Spiral (Shroud 4) + 1x Auto chain. So the Reaper rotation is always going to be Shroud 2 > 2x Auto Chain > Shroud 2 > Shroud 4 > 1x Auto Chain > Shroud 2 > Shroud 5.

So I play reaper power greatsword. Do I need to turn off my auto targeting? (Not auto attack) Or should I keep it on? Seems like if I don't use it the rotation dies after whatever I'm killing does. It doesn't put the skill that's in action locked onto the next enemy. I had alot of people say i needed to get used to it off but it helps me clear pve trash mobs faster.

The 'Target Nearest Enemy' is a bindable hotkey as well. I believe it is bound to Tab by default. I always play with Autotargeting off just to avoid those cases where you're waiting in front of a boss with a group and you accidentally press 1 or some other ranged skill

@saruliasgw2486 ill have to try it. That would change the rotation. I'd need to know when to randomly press the key to take next target. Usually things die before the rotation is done. It's hard to guess when to do that cause it's always different. I left it on because when I turned it off when I hit shroud skill 2 I'll fly out of range into nothing where as if I keep it on it just locks in the closest enemy. What's the setting called that if an enemy dies at hit 1 of a hit attack (such as an axe attack). It'll just finish off what the skill has left on the next one. Do you know what that's called? Valun had a video about it but I forget offhand. 🤔

Why remove the torch and replace with sword if youre not using the sword?

I am very much so using the sword if you continue past the opening portion. Instead of ending the first shroud with Executioner's Scythe (shroud 5), Devouring Visage (sword 5) is used to extend Relic of Fireworks uptime

Getting numbers between 41.5k and 42.0k is pretty common. I would say that >42.5k is reachable. I cut my attempts on Reaper a bit short to get more time on Harbinger

I only get like 30-33k need to get a faster rotation cause on the opening i cant hit more thant 30

You should also check your gear setup and consumables. Missing any amount of the power stat will significantly lower your damage ceiling. Missing ~100 power from gear or consumables would already be ~2.5% damage loss. I often hear people stating they don't use food nor utility in the golem area. Omitting those can lower your final dps by around 8%. This loss is even worse for power based Necromancer builds because it means your skills may not hit the

You need to use 6x +5 precision infusions on top of the assassins head. If you don't have infusions you can go for assassins legs and you'll be at 74.90%. Also make sure you are using sigil of accuracy on both weapon sets.
