found you video on facebook - love the build crafting that you've doing on this channel! are you using gen ai for the thumbnails?

Hey man thank you :) yes I use stable diffusion for the thumbnails. It's the only one that doesn't infringe on copyright laws as far as I know

Cool build! I wonder if the AI heroes would be able to use the build the same way to maintain aegis like that.

Thanks man and that's a good question! We should test that!

I need to try this on a hero
@KrythsGWStuff6 ай бұрын
Do tell me about the results if you can. It'd be imba to have this plus a ST in HM on heroes!
@elemair92106 ай бұрын
@@KrythsGWStuff it works half the time. The hero put aegis on 50% of the combat
@KrythsGWStuff6 ай бұрын
@@elemair9210 hmm did you try removing all skills except the glyph and aegis? I know it's not the way to go but I'm just curious to see if the hero would cycle glyph and aegis if left with no choice..
@elemair92106 ай бұрын
@@KrythsGWStuff no i didn't try it because it's irrelevant. no hero will ever have only 2 skills in his bar

Aegis and Blurred Vision don't really synergize as one ends up only half as effective due to it being multiplicative. To that end I would just run Swirling Aura as it is already water magic and Ward Against Harm to deal with any elemental damage. With those two you can briefly give your party 9 pips of health regeneration as well.
@KrythsGWStuff6 ай бұрын
Not sure I know what "multiplicative" means as eng is not my first language but if you mean to say you'd rather use ward against harm (the elite) combined with swirling aura rather than this then sure go for it. I'm personally not a big fan of WaH (i find ward spells a bit limiting in terms of movement) and swirling aura can't be made into being permanent but it's build wars man. Whatever floats your boat :)
@justice_13376 ай бұрын
@KrythsGWStuff Alone both are 50% chance to not be hit. When stacked together they are 75%. Meaning one is effectively functioning at +25% chance to not being hit. If you also stacked swirling aura then verse projectile attacks it would only be functioning at +12.5% chance to not be hit.

@@justice_1337 oh yeah I'm aware of those numbers. Just didn't know there was a term for it. When I said blurred vision synergizes well with aegis I didn't intend to give off the impression that your block chance goes up to %100. Only that it's an added layer of protection against attacks is all. At any rate, perhaps going the smiting route instead of water might be more efficient in general. I guess it all depends on what u wanna do
@Ithamir6 ай бұрын
@KrythsGWStuff The original commenter has flawed logic and gives very poor alternatives. 75% chance for enemies to hit your party is still much better than only 50%. Also, Aegis being and enchantment and Blurred Vision being an hex makes it more difficult for enemies to go nullify both of them. If they get rid of one source you still have 50% from the other. Moreover, Blurred Vision makes enemies miss, so attacks that can't be blocked can still be countered with it! Swirling Aura and Ward Against Harm are both terrible skills for multiple reasons as you mentioned. Also, for Swirling Aura you need to be overcast and Ward Against Harm takes an elite slot...

@@Ithamir thanks for the input man. I honestly didn't think that deeply about it when I threw blurred vision in there except that it'd buff up aegis a bit but it's good to know that they synergize better than anticipated.
