First, love the Avatar. Second, I noticed that table in the episode and wondered why it took such a prominent position in the framing...perhaps it's more i portant than we first thought. I wonder what Barb's body's organic chemistry makeup is now that she's in the "upside down." Does ir change? And what's that toxic atmosphere made and why didn't Will die from such long exposure to it? So many questions need to be explored at Guillotined Chemistry.

Kramerclass, thanks for the compliment and the meaty thoughts. SPOILERS AHEAD, I agree, it was hard to avoid starting right at it since it kept being so prominently displayed through the entire climactic ending. I'm leaning towards goof than some ulterior motive. Though Mr. Clarke was amazing, so perhaps he had something up his sleeve we never knew about. The question of how basics laws of science would change in the 'upside down' is a good one. It seemed relatively similar to our own; the major difference being the atmosphere and the 'Silent Hill' aging of the infrastructures. I also found it weird that Dr. Brenner's team's apparently overstated the atmosphere's toxicity. Was there something special about Will? But that premise is a little forced when both Hopper and Nancy also held out pretty well. So that leaves the Brennan assessment as either a) willful obfuscation b) well-intended ignorance or c) another plot goof. Brennan's team was certainly inconsistent in its responses to different events, so anything is possible. Here's my best guess (AGAIN SPOILERS!). The upside down was a manifestation of Eleven's own psyche and, as such, perhaps she contained some residual, subconscious control over it. That would go to explain how Brennan's team was met with almost immediate violence, even down to a caustic atmosphere. Perhaps it was Eleven's way of protecting herself. That would also explain how the innocents caught up it in received some breathing room (literally and otherwise), but with mixed results across the board. The Upside down was obviously out of control, so Eleven couldn't perfectly protect people, as well as she tried. I might just have to try and sit down with the Duffer Brothers and hash it out. :) We aren't the only ones poking around the science of it. Popular Science did a nice interview with Brian Greene on the physics of the show. It looks like it was highly inspired by some of Green's own writing on the multiverse theory. I'll have to post a follow-up about it.

Thanks, Caleb... it is the same song, but I had to change the arrangement so I wouldn't get tagged for copyright infringement even though the one I used was public domain (only happen occasionally, but that was frustrating). Keep up the good work. Let me know what you want to see in the future!

Ah, that explains it. Anyway, are these new videos going to be incorporated into the Honors Chemistry curriculum, or are they separate? Also, do you have any plans to post content covered in AP Chemistry?

At the start, they'll be supplemental. At some point I might start doing version 2.0 of all the basics, but that is pretty ambitious and long term. Honestly, I'll probably stay away from AP Chem and organic since my hands will be full with just introductory content, but there might be a little overlap here and there.
