@@pc_txears I sympathise with both versions of those two (minus Theseus in this au cause he’s a genuine b!tch, whereas Ranboo in the og au wasn’t). Ranboo in the original au might have not been the best, but he was just picked up by royals who wanted to use him to make their brother jealous. He had no say, he was living in poverty. Theseus in this AU is deliberately trying to make Ranboo feel put down and to ruin his life. Theseus in the og au had reasoning to hate Ranboo but pushed all the blame onto him, but it was justified therefor not making me sympathise less with him. Don’t call me a hypocrite for using common sense.

DUDE THIS GOT ME THINKING NOW I HAVE THIS WHOLE AU IN MY HEAD If Allium!duo were swapped, that meant that Theseus wouldn't hide how he felt and would act exactly like his irl self. So like swearing 24/7 and acting gay 24/24. Ranboo would start super polite and wholesome (+ kinda pushover-y) in the beginning but then eventually become much more mature and firm. So when he "disrespects" the emperor, it comes of as a much huger surprise that goes farther than "how a crown prince should act" and more of how Ranboo's personality changed drastically. I do feel like there would be key differences between the original and swap Theseus and Ranboo's relationship. Namely, that there wouldn't be so much hatred. Not only because Ranboo naturally can't hate someone too easily, but also because Theseus just wouldn't CARE. What I mean is that br!Ranboo constantly tried to be friends with br!Theseus, which caused Theseus to quickly get annoyed with him, but I have a feeling that this Theseus is gonna try a few times and then just go "FUCK YOU" at him all the time for rejecting him. But instead of it becoming full angst, it would just be almost comical because of how professional Ranboo would try his best to keep it, clashing with Tommy's endless swearing. *AND* neither would snitch. Its like how girls hide how much they hate each other in secret but pretend to be besties in front of others. JUST IMAGINE IT: Tommy (whispering): FUCK YOU, YOU STUCK UP LITTLE- Ranboo (speaking quietly instead of whispering): I would appreciate it if you were a bit more polite Tommy (still whispering): DO I LOOK LIKE A GIVE A FUCK ABOUT YOUR OPINION- Phil: Oh how's it going with you two? Tommy: Oh me and RanBOOB (glares at ranboo) are just bonding! Phil: Oh that's good! **leaves** Ranboo: Please stop calling me Ranboob- Tommy: stfu ALSO there would be an extra plus side bcus Tommy would definitely find out about Wilbur being a bitch bcus he's gonna look for Ranboo to cuss him off and then end up cussing Wilbur off instead! ANNND I bet Tommy would be able to tell when he goes a bit too far with insults about Ranboo and then F L U F F. SO THE WHOLE THING WOULD BE ALLIUMDUO- Srsly tho, for the ppl who think the au would be relatively boring, ya'll are dead wrong. With a few headcannons as well as perfectly reasonable changes based on backstories and character personalities, it would be funny, fluffy, and angsty as fuck
