And while I understand ML has the right to make sure his band is in top form and not distracted by other opportunities, in Patti's case, she had devoted most of her career to performing with ML and they should have been happy to help her pursue her own solo career.

he fired her in October 2006, she stayed out of the three bats tour, instead went to Aspen Miller, but then he must have repented and hired Patti again in 2008. Miller is a great singer, but Patti is a legend...I can't imagine Meatloaf without Patti...

I was shown some emails in facebook but sadly they were deleted. His management company didn't like her going to other concerts on their night's off because it affected her performance and she was getting to big for her boots so they asked her to sit out the vegas shows. Shit took that to mean she was fired and got nasty.

If you watched her interview with Nick Summers she explains her personal experience with Meat Loaf when she first started touring with him in 1993 and explained how she went through abuse from both Meat Loaf and the Tour management. Controlling what she wore to humiliating her on stage in front of audiences. Meat Loaf was a genius but doesn’t mean he was perfect because he treated his band like crap. I suggest you get your facts right before you talk.

Both times was because she had her own projects on the go. 2006/7 she released solo album XO and other times she was with Queen.
