My hedgehog had a quill that grew funny when he was quilling and sudocream helped it so much For hedgehogs humilac is one of the best things for quilling and dry skin

Thank you so much for sharing this! I can really appreciate these kind of videos. You gave us so many helpful tips and information. I have hamsters but I have some of the same things in my kit. The Critical Care is a must have but some hamsters hate the taste so baby food is a good back up to have. The tool box is such a great idea. I love how the top tray extends out like that. I've been using a plastic bin but I think I will be getting one like yours :)

Fantastic and detailed. I'm made up you put the dosages too. Can I just ask is the olive oil given orally and if so how much would you give?

Thanks so much for the positive feedback on this video. I would recommend 1ml of Olive Oil once a day to treat bloat, and yes it's given orally. Hope that answers your questions xx

I'm sorry she hasn't been well, I luckily haven't had any issues with these problems but have read up about them a lot and have second hand experience of it. Thank you so much my skinny seems ok I just have the odd white creamy wee patch not chalky or gritty have you made a video of dail feeding routine as I have cut her down on her cabbage actually altogether I'm just wondering what else she could eat its really thrown me her being ill. Just at a loss of whats right or not so many sites say different things. xx

Aw I'm glad she's doing okay! I don't currently have a daily feeding routine but I will try and upload one in a few weeks, I try to vary the guinea pigs veg as much as possible. On a daily basis they will get veg in the morning, usually something leafy such as romaine lettuce, rocket or a herb such as parsley, a cherry or plum tomato and bell pepper, then a few times every week I'll add some 'treat' veg in such as carrots, fruit, cucumber etc. Then they have 1/8th of a cup each of pellets in the evening. I really would like to adopt a pair of guinea pigs again but I dont know if I can afford them.edit, do you think they are expensive to take care of??

I think they are kind of expensive. If you are going to use fleece instead of bedding, that is overall going to be less expensive. I have to buy a new bag of bedding once a month.They eat tons of hay as well, so that gets kind of expensive, too. If you research more of what they require, you can maybe get the overall price. They're a lot of work. I have two females, and it's maybe $50+ a month? That's my estimate, I don't know exactly.

If you mean that you let your guinea pigs free range on a concrete surface, then that will definitely keep them shorter than if they didn't but they will still need trimming every so often as they will tend to get quite sharp and uncomfortable for them :) x

I really love you videos but please be careful when using bonjela gel as it contains an anaesthetic (lidocaine). If applied in too high a dose or to frequently then it can lead to overdose which is not good for any pets.

Thank you for the advice, I definitely agree with Adult Bonjela, however the bonjela featured in this video is actually an infant one, & the back of the packaging confirms that it only contains less than 0.3% of Lidocaine, of course the adult one will contain more but as shown in the video this is an infant one designed for babies of 2 months old making it a mild anaesthetic and safe enough for a tiny amount to be used to soothe any outer lip issues. My vet has been treating my Guinea pigs for years & I have complete trust in his recommendations regarding my pets health. I have also done a huge amount of research myself and have been caring for and fostering Guinea pigs for many years, I would not do anything that would be harmful to them. Everything I do is throughly researched first. I do however only ever recommend certain medications to very experienced owners.
