My sweet piggy boy passed very dramatically yesterday He was a happy , healthy boy 1500g , very sweet and we had a special bond 😢 He was just as happy in the morning before I went to work, ate cilantro, hay as usual…. No symptoms of any kind snd I do watch my piggies like a hawk for any changes but later that day my daughter was giving them carrots and called me that his breathing is so very labored that he needs to open his mouth very wide and pacing around the cage She took him to emergency that treats exotics and they couldn’t tell exactly what’s work with him but gave him shot of antibiotics and anti inflammatory, fluids …. An hour later he passed by not being able to breathe I still can’t believe how he can be healthy in the morning and all of a sudden die in the evening The only thing I can come up with is a heart failure I’m really upset and devastated

@@suzannec6817 Thank you so much for your reply and a group suggestion Do you know is anything could be done to stop heart failure at the time it was happening or the best would have been to stop the suffering right then? I couldn’t leave work to be at emergency clinic with my daughter and make that decision but when I got home and saw his horrible his breathing was I wish I could be there to end his suffering He passed an hour after getting home
