I also like the human nail clippers myself when I used to cut my teddy. But I like the baby human nail clippers they’re easier to handle and I could get down there like you said before the quick but enough to get the nail off they are easier to work with, I don’t like the pet they make me nervous lol

About the music to keep them calm... Your videos have taught my wife and I a lot about how to give our piggies their best life so we have a wonderful cage setup with all of the floofy liners and snuggies. One day when i was cleaning their cages out I myself wanted to listen to some nice low fi, chill hip hop beats so I put a playlist on ...ALL 6 of our guineas within 2 minutes were just laying in their favorite snuggies when just before i felt as though the wheeks were deafening lol piggies really do respond to chill music and it blew my mind lol

Nacho is so sweet and adorable! You did such an amazing job giving him such a nice haircut! My docile black Peruvian Bruno has such long thick straight hair and cutting it is always an ordeal - hair goes everywhere and it’s hard to cut layers so he doesn’t look choppy. How I wish my own hairstylist could do him justice. I chuckle imagining bringing him to the hooman salon!

It is recommended not to use human clippers. Because the Guinea Pigs have (instead of human nails) round nails. So than they can split. The other clipper was a good one, but so big (like for a dog). We use smaller ones. It is not always easy to do. But you are so relaxing for them. We love your channel and your good care and love for the Guinea Pigs. Fun to watch with the humor also 🥰

Why do you bath your guinea pig? My vet told me NEVER to bath a guinea pig unless there's a medical reason for it, it's too much stress for them. I have a Merino guinea pig that's never been bathed 😄 and his fur is jst fine.

There are honestly mixed opinions on this which comes down to the condition of your piggies skin and whether they require an occasional bath or not. I have had piggies which haven't needed it but in my opinion some definitely do benefit from it 😊
