Sorry about jafar. We had mange mites in one of our piggies about 8 years ago it's horrible isn't it. We did the same thing with the sock. Our guinea pig lost almost all of its hair. Good luck with the treatment

Oh my goodness! Jaguar was very beautiful, but happy he lived a long life! I remember your videos and Gizmo and Jafar, I remember how you told a story about a rescue piggy, and I cried all day! It touched my heart so much! Mange mites aren't good, obviously they're pests, but at least they're curable, and not deadly, she looks ok. now, thank God!

how do you keep your guineapigs healthy and happy? they are not really use to me yet although I have had them 7 months and also I put tea tree cream on my guineapigs and like 10 mins later there poo is a soft and watery but it only happens when i put there cream on to stop them itching and also when and how often should you take your guineapigs to the vets? and what should you look out for as I know guineapigs his their illness really well

Hi, thanks for watching 😊 I have a series on my channel about how to give a guinea pig a health check. They are pretty old videos but the information is still relevant about what to keep a look out for. If they are itching, have a look at a website called guinealynx. They have great info on parasites and fungal infections that may result in excessive itching. And great health advice in general 😊 Some people will take their piggies to the vets for regular check ups and some only take them when they think something is wrong with them, it depends on how confident you are about their health. I think the secret in keeping them healthy is in researching their care and providing a good diet and housing situation for them ❤️ Also if you weigh your guinea pigs regularly you can pick up on illnesses as they can’t hide weight loss x

I try to advise adopting over buying them when you can because I feel that they deserve another shot at a happy life. Some of my rescues came from rescue centres, some were rehomed off Facebook/ gumtree and some came from the adoption section of pets at home.
