Guisborough Woods | Easby Moor

A great XC ride starting in Guisborough Woods before heading over to Easby Moor before heading back to Guisborough Woods via Gribdale.

HOW TO GET THERE:
Guisborough is situated on the A171 road between Middlesbrough and Whitby and approximately 9 miles south east of Middlesbrough. Guisborough can also be reached via the A173 from Great Ayton and the B1269 from Redcar.
This ride starts at Fountain Street East Car Park in Guisborough where there is a car parking charge and limited spaces, however there are other car parks nearby.
Post ride, there are plenty of facilities in Guisborough including cafes, pubs and shops - something for everybody!!

Some nice descents there! If you can get a clear run down Captain Cooks you can really fly, I used to have the 7th fastest overall and KOM for my age range. Love Sleddale as well, preferably with a tail wind!

Cheers Bob, yeah some good descents but unfortunately plenty of walkers in the wrong places especially the descent from Percy Cross down into Lonsdale!! Also the head wind down Sleddale was frustrating to say the least!!
