Sure. I’m a big fan of using what you got. I’m pretty sure you can get an inexpensive tabletop drill press tho. It will help a lot to keep things perfect.

I like the punch out kits there nice but alum chassis is kinda over kill I use a old school 3” porta cable with a fine tooth blade i use these at work for precision cuts on metal or sometimes a grinder wheel

That would work great for aluminum. I also do steel chassis. In comparison aluminum is a breeze.

What size punch is it for the Power tubes sockets ?

My punches are 11/16” for fender pilot light holes, 7/8” for preamp sockets and 1-3/16 for power tube sockets. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching.

Do they not have Pot-sized chassis punches?

Sometimes I use the appropriate drill bit. Other times I use the step bit. Sometimes drill bits wander of mark slightly. Step bits let you draw your hole using the faceplate as a template and nail it perfectly.

You've got to SERIOUSLY work on Edge Distance. There is a formula.
