Thanks! I appreciate it. I would talk to my wife about all of this interesting stuff, but she couldn't care less. So I make videos. :).

As an old keyboard player, 68. I can tell you that we've been using modelers for 3 decades. Who wants to carry big heavy keyboards? I also play guitar and I never use an amplifier. I just rent a modeler. I don't own one because i play live so rarely and in my studio, I just use the amp sims built into my Cubase DAW. They sound killer. I think it's pretty much only people with big money and strong backs that are using real amps these days and most of them are 40 plus years old. I could be wrong but why drag a 412 cabinet plus head plus pedals when you an carry one thing?

I'll admit that I gig with a Yamaha MX88, which is large, but it's not crazy heavy - nothing like the Rhodes I used to use in the 80s. But I do use a lot of sounds from MainStage on my computer. I don't bring any amps, though. As I get older, I could see leaving it home and bringing a smaller, lighter keyboard controller.

As long as there are dentists, there will be ridiculously expensive 100W vintage amps (& craptastic "reissues" of them) being bought.

Ha ha ha ha! And PRS 10 Tops on the walls, too.

I don't think you can trust those Reverb lists. Lots of that is used gear which means not only are a lot of people are buying that gear, but they are also getting rid of it as well.

I'm not sure what you mean by modelers. What is a modeler?

A modeler is an electronic device which is designed to model amps, speakers, and guitar pedals. Famous modelers would be the Helix and the Kemper, but modeling is also built into some amps made by Line 6 and Boss.
