Great video lesson. I just started using a capo (I've only used it in the past on a few jazz songs I wrote and a couple covers that I don't really play much any more) but I it's had a great effect on 2 of my newer songs. These tips are super helpful. I'm excited about exploring lots more now. Thank you!

Good content and I like your sound and teaching. In Germany they called the capo Talentbremse. Talent break.

great video , could you do a video explaining the 1 ,5, 4, etc on the cords??
@acousticguitarlessons9 ай бұрын
@billfraser4422, glad you liked the video :) Do you mean to do a video on how to get different 1, 4, 5 progressions with the capo in various positions on the fretboard? For example, options for the capo to play a 1, 4, 5 in the key of G.
@billfraser44229 ай бұрын
I’m relatively new to guitar so when you say 1 54 etc in the key of G I don’t fully understand , I know g , c add9 not sure what other cords are in G I think you said e7 ? Hope this make sense ?

Glen Campbell was one of the first people to use and enhance the guitar . Especially when he was a session musician with the wrecking crew during the sixties and you can hear him on strangers in the night using the capo.

@alanattfield7174, yes a great player he was. i need to check him out a bit more, thanks for the suggestion :)
