I been waiting for this song to have a lesson. I’ve tried learning from others but they don’t play it as it sounds honestly. Glad I rolled across this because this is one of my favorites. The beginning is like a whole orchestra just on guitar. Chris Cornell was and still is (in my book) the best song writer in the world. He’s a music icon and an inspiration to all of us musicians

not only that, this is correct :) Figuring this out was a major triumph I enjoyed mightily and I'm glad you have found it! I will not argue with you that Chris was the best sitting alone by himself writing a song songwriter. I wholeheartedly agree.

@amrfwws4 жыл бұрын
That called "wasting time", not "learning guitar". Because if it takes 17 years for you to just learn this one song then you have an understanding problem. But I guess it's a joke, I hope..17 years from now my target is to be successful with my life, not just successful on mastering a single song guitar chords. But if it's not a joke, it's only takes not even a year to mastering guitars! After that you can just play any song for just 2 or 3 days with your guitar. It's not that hard, people are just being lazy to learn, so they think it'll actually take that long to learn just one single song guitar. That's ridiculous!

Great lesson thanks Ryan! Is there any way you can do a fallow up video on the verse that leads back up to the chorus, right after the bridge? if that make sense lol. Its basically the intro part, played twice, but there are a couple extra strums thrown in there at the end/beginning. That looks way more confusing written down than it sounds in my head. The part of the song from 2:20-2:36. Im sure i can use my earballs to figure it out but you are much better than me so i would love to see you do it! Thanks!!
@RyanLendt6 жыл бұрын
Do you mean when it happens twice, once with the twangy instrument that does it in the intro intro, and once again with a much lower instrument?
@kurthodge126 жыл бұрын
Yes that part. I listened closer and figured it out i think. You do the into part one time. Then when that lower instrument is playing, you just play the normal verse behind it. Then back to the lead up to the chorus. Got it dialed now haha. Thanks for getting back to me tho! Also, not sure if this is the best spot for a request, buuuuuut.. STP 'Trippin' On A Hole In A Paper Heart' would be a great video for you to do. Maybe minus the solo..

hey, love your channel, I use it either to corroborate what I already know or to learn songs I don't know, happy to know there is other jammers out there, just a suggestion, can you play the full part that you are about to teach and dismember so I have a quick reference and I don't have to watch the detailed explanation on how to put my fingers on a C chord or a D chord, I enjoy your videos a lot, but I have to move forward a lot so I get to where you have all the part together, I mean this is just a suggestion, but it would help if I had the part that you are about to teach played on normal regular speed and probably then the explanation, I use your explanations too, specially when it comes to weird chords that I don't catch right away, anyways, I really appreciate what you do for this world brother, from Cherryville B.C Canada with love
