I've been meaning to make this video ever since I attended the Chris Cornell Tribute Concert where Josh Homme performed his rendition of Soundgarden's Rusty Cage. Hi Ryan. This was a really great lesson and entertaining as well. I’m 2-1/2 years into learning guitar. I started late though at 58. It’s easy to play the way you have presented it. All it took was practice everything in the correct order a lot and soon it’s amazing how it sounds. The sound I found best was run my Schecter on both humbuckers into a Muffuletta Fuzz pedal into my tube amp with some quick slapback. Like you said no one likely has the same pedal as the original artist. To me it sounds like they used a Leslie effect as well maybe? Thanks again for such a cool channel!

Hey Ryan, where did you get your neck for your schecter? I just bought a schecter, and I want to replace it with a tele neck as well, but I don't know where to find one that will fit without modification.

I ordered a USA tele neck from a local dealer and had him put it on. I don't recall exactly if anything special had to happen, but I'm under the impression he just had to bolt it on (and set it up etc)

man....i love you your videos are straight to the point, yet still funny as hell, and you are incredibly knowledgeable If I were you, I'd make a lesson for every song you've ever learned I think your edge is marketing yourself to intermediate/expert guitarists rather than beginner as we don't all need to learn how to hold a pick and tune before we learn a song that's way out of the scope for a beginner (.........hint hint every other fuckin channel this video is done and complete before your video is done teaching me the difference between the A and the D string in your leason teaching me how to play cliffs of dover)
