That "baby A" you refer to, the A triad is my favorite chord. If you hit the open A, it doesn't matter, it's the root. If you hit the baby e, it doesn't matter, it's in the chord already. And if you hit the low E, well it's now an A/E chord, but it still didn't matter because E is in the chord. There's no wrong way to play it, it all depends on context! P.S. I look forward to seeing you someday as well 🙂

Thanks for the videos man! I have a suggestion that you might not be cool with, it might be better to instead of naming the fret numbers, name the notes? That will force us to have to think about what notes are in each chord. I don't know. maybe you think it is better to just get it done quickly with the fret numbers and not make any fuss. I guess I can see that.
@RyanLendt2 жыл бұрын
you're making a really big assumption that all of my 300,000/mo viewers know the notes of the fretboard. As a guitar teacher, I can tell you that it's a bad one :) That said, if you go watch all of my 1,230 videos you will see that I often do refer to notes.

How do I make my guitar sound like your guitar? I have an electric guitar and it doesn't quite sound right, do you have pedals? i am very new to guitar. Also my guitar is in tune
@RyanLendt3 жыл бұрын
put very simply, every single guitar sounds different, and so does every amp, so if you wanted to make your guitar sound like mine, you'd need to have a fender noiseless telecaster bridge pickup going into a VOX AC15 - not sure if I used any pedals on this one... point is - love your sound, and good luck on your journey of tone!
