I got Tom's "Gospel Guitar of Mississippi John Hurt.". It was awesome. I'm going to get this one now. I'm glad that you created these for future generations. It's such great music.

Finally! Long ago...after internalizing all the John Hurt Vanguard albums, I heard Frank Stokes and was thrilled to realize I understood what he was doing.

When I play this song I try to bring some of Dan Sane's style into it. After I play G G-F-E-D-C-C brush -now I play with the thumb D-D#-E brush brush.

Terrible tutorial, there’s strings you’re not even telling us to pluck. Still appreciate it though

I never EVER heard anyone say anything but how good Tom's tutorials are. 'Terrible'??? I dont think so😕

You’re right! that was an emotional comment I gave, due to a bit of frustration. I’m actually grateful that there’s a tutorial on this song .
