I absol adore my ‘94 DCSM! Passed on one in ‘94 and it took me 20 yrs to find its match! It has saved my life.

I was lucky enough to get to spend some time jamming with Dan in Toronto in the mid 90's before a clinic he was giving with Don Ross... I had a chance to try out one of his extended range guitars, I don't think it was this one because I don't remember the fretboard extension... I do remember Dan saying he had them made so he could tune lower to better suit his voice... Great guy, great guitar !!!

very cool . never heard of such a thing , but as you say big sound , oddly enough especially in the higher range , looks nice too with that squiggle pick up cross the sound hole , and the neck cut , very cool , great demo as always , thanks guys.

I love Dan Crary. That long neck is super duper. Reminds me of what Pete Seeger did to his banjo. (Not too crazy about politically designs, if I were ever to try playing such a guitar I think it would deaden any creative vibe.)

I hold my hand up and admit I just don’t get it. The dot marking on the frets only make sense if you capo the 3rd fret ! So should you tune standard e a d g b e at the 3rd ? Please someone educate me.

Explained in the intro. Longer scale and designed to tune to D. Double dot shows where E is as normal.

i understand by appointment.because of cov-19. but not to let someone's brouse and look around . takes away the main purpose of ever having the chance to go to norms. you have to really look to know and see what you like.

The point they are making is, they don’t wanted people booking a slot to browse with no intention of buying
@wildbilljr33693 жыл бұрын
@@malcolmfunkymalcolm2369 i can see that. it does make sense and would suck 4 people to just look. but i'm sure they'll still let you look if you do plan on buying. hell i know i would i'd have to buy at least 1. lol
