I got one of these and love it.I love Jesus too. The wood looks beautiful on the back of these guitars.Some sorta rosewood maybe.Nice sound

I've had my Yamaha FG-411-12 "Kitty" since sommer 1996. It is like an old loved friend. Frets was quite soft, but changing them to harder ones is a real improvement. I would recommend it to all Yamaha acoustic twelver owners, round the world. Another thing: get a chromatic clip tuner! It is a gift from heaven! 0.010-gauge string set is a good choice too, clear and crisp tone. I've played with twelver since 1973, and still have a deep love of playing it. Open and simple chords, and you're always popular with your FG. Capo is a good thing too. I'm voluntarily played in my church several times, for the glory of God. Kitty sings like an angel.

I've got a 12 string Yamaha that sounds great as well. The main drawback is changing the strings with an open headstock.

You should learn to tune it mate. It is difficult to make a Yamaha 12 string sound so bad. It sounds absolutely awful.
