Dear Mr Fletcher, It's been 2 years since your last video. I hope this finds you well. I find your video of super high quality and i thought maybe you had planned to push some content again on KZbin. This would be really awesome. Sincerely, Avi

I wanted to say thank you for taking the time to share your knowledge. I'm in the process of building a Jazzmaster and your Strat build has been my guide. I built a Warmoth Strat 20 years ago but I'm really enjoying this scratch build. Keep the great videos coming!

Coming back to this video, how did you get the Pigments shipped overseas? To me both MadInter and Stewmac won't ship this over air.

Another good video. I want to do a "caramel syrup" burst edge using ColorTone dyes. Can you recommend a starting mix that I could begin with my practice piece?

Welcome back mate! When's the next build video? Haha
@FletcherHandcraftedGuitars7 жыл бұрын
Soon mate. I have students in most weeks now for my build courses so finding time to film builds is hard. I do have some plans though so my channel should be more active again

Awesome stuff! Excited to see a build with some new inlays from your new machine!

What is that clear liquid that he mixes the liquid stain into?
@peterschmidt99427 жыл бұрын
It looks like you're getting your pigments/stains from stewmac. Where are you getting your lacquers? Seems a bit hard to find in Oz these days.
@FletcherHandcraftedGuitars7 жыл бұрын
I use Mirotone Lacquer , Mirocat PC
@peterschmidt99427 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the heads up. Looks like there's a couple of distributors around my way which is good. That's the thing about stewmac, you can get toners and flakes but nothing else paint wise because of shipping laws to Oz! Have you tried mixing toner flakes in it or do you just use the bottled toners?

the liquid stain is a natural colour. the other is like plastic colour. isn't bad, but i really like the natural
