I own this guitar, just phenomenal! Sounds as good if not better than a lot of high ends guitars and about 4 times less expensive!

I played a used one of these, probably would buy it if the bridge wasn't pulling up (not a problem now but might be in the future). Best sounding guitar for $800 new I've ever played in recent years. I'd say the best way to describe it is 95% the guitar a Guild D-40 Traditional is, but a third the price

Great review and very nice playing! Guitar does sound great! I find it strange (and disappointing) that the frets were needing that much tlc for a guitar at this price point.

Mine has the exact same issues as yours. I’ll have frets and nut taken care of by my Luthier. But ya…it’s a beauty and light.

I've got the rosewood version. The factory setup was terrible but it now it's at where it should be, and plays fantastic of course.

I own the same exact guitar, i have big and thick fingers, and even if the nut with is 1 3/4, i find that the strings spacing is a little narrow for me! Just check the high E string and you'll see that it is a little too far away from the end of the steel fret, it can be move at least a good 1/16, maybe a little more without any danger that the string slips off when pressed! I will bring it to my favorite luthier, put a new nut bone, and reslot it a little wider giving me a bit more spacing between them strings, but other than that, mine sounds as good as a Martin D-28!!!!
@robinkonig459
which strings do you use?
