I've been there before the Bill Burr Concert in January and played the Gibson Modern in the front. Very uncomfortable to sit with, but they got it right with the straight string pull, which the sadly dropped. Nice little shop. Hope you also checked out that other Shop "Munich Guitar Company". They build really crazy ukuleles. How much was the V? The modern was really cheap, only 13k€.

Shane that had to be the best "GUITAR SEARCH SATURDAY" that you have done yet! Killer gear in this store definitely would check this place out (and make myself a little more impoverished haha) if I ever make it to your neck of the woods. Im so jealous! I was stationed in Frankfurt in 1991, and the following fall I spent 4 days in Munich for Octoberfest. About half the time was spent around the city, not just at the festival area. I think Munich is an amazing place, I loved the time there so much! 19 years old and thousands of miles from home, wandering around that beautiful place. Glad you had a great time there!

There's some amazing guitars there. Sort of shop you wouldn't let the guy from School Of Rock anywhere near or they might go missing! That Career LP looks very similar to Haze which is sold in Oz.

Before Matthias Jabs opened his shop there, there was a second hand music shop called "East Side", at that time when I bought my first good/expensive electric guitar there, a Valley Arts California Pro! :-)

"I have a Korina Gibson Moderne 1982 reissue Tim Shaw pick ups" it sounds "Awesome" one of the "best sounding neck pickups", "quite light, "big tone of its own.

Big fan of Guild guitars and I am pleased to say they are no longer owned by Fender who did absolutely nothing to further or promote the brand. They dropped the electric range completely and moved the acoustic line firstly to Korea and then China.Thankfully they sold Guild to Cordoba Guitars five years ago. They reintroduced the electrics which are now made in Korea and recently opened a new factory in USA for the manufacture of their acoustic line whilst continuing the more affordable guitars in Korea and China.

That's an excellent episode! If someday you come here in Canada, you must come to Québec City's Long and McQuade guitar store. There is a whole wall of left handed guitars including Gibson and Fender brands. This brand new store is huge and very impressive. There is Blues jams sessions every sunday night here in Québec. Nice to jam with you someday.

I think that Blues Deluxe amp is not as popular as it should be. I had one in 04, and was a home player. You can make it sound pretty great at volume no louder than turning your tv up just a bit past the usual level, pretty great. Man I wish my LP Studio sounded as good as the gold top in the store that ric played!

Hi Shane, i cked out taylor schlubb channel, that guy can play and good ! Friend o mine plays 2 vibrolux ,,rok n blues,, its a quality sound 2x10 each. With lp and tele n few basic pedals. Saw ya iballin em n the vid, imo id like 1 also, i play a 2x12 bassman n g&l tele with bardens , a blonde blackgaurd no less lol,,that does pretty good so far.

Doesn’t Martin own Sigma? If not I know they at least used to own them. My first guitar was an early 70s Sigma Classical I got in 92 that looked like willie Nelson’s guitar.

Tomekkplk I think it might be just you mate!😜! But for me the attraction of the Flying V is the roster of iconic bluesmen who’ve played them!
