How you can get no hum or hiss with the Strat? Use DI box?

The hum can depend on a number of things like the country you are in, lights and power etc. The plugin does have a noise gate you can use to cut down on noise when you aren’t playing

@@davidkenneth3983 Audio interface into a computer. Then ideally studio headphones or studio monitors. But I've also used just regular computer speakers before I got studio monitors & didn't want to use my studio headphones. EDIT: need a DAW too if it doesn't have a standalone version. Reaper is free.

You really should be able to put all effects in front of the amp

You wouldn’t want to put a chorus, reverb, or delay in front of an amp. That just muddies the DI signal before it hits the amp and defeats the whole purpose.

@@CrzyWzrd4L Ever listen to Van Halen first two albums. How about a ton of U2 albums. Before the amp creates a special effect that is completely different than after.

Definitely a sponsored paid ad... Having heard real dumbles in person this isn't the dumble sound. If you want it closest you'll get is a cloned head or a shinn music dumboliod pedal. If you think that sounds like a dumble you've never heard one.

I can honestly say in nearly 2 years of doing this channel I’ve never been paid or done a sponsored ad. I’ve had a few offers for some sponsored ads recently but I’m yet to do any.

@@frankiewalnuts it’s out now but I got sent it early to do a review with them knowing knowing full well that I’m always very honest with reviews. If something comes out a box with an action like a suspension bridge and sharp frets then I will tell people that’s what we’ve been sent so they know what they are getting with me, a complete honest review. So they must have enough faith in the product to send me a demo to review and know that I’m not going to say I think it’s awful because I genuinely think it sounds very very good. They also know I have fractal gear which is widely regarded as the best in the modelling world so they know what I’m going to compare it to.

@@GuitarTalkUK for the price, I'm going to give it a go, I think they have a trial... I doubt it will be anywhere near my tube amps though. You can never replicate the dynamics of a valve. I question their ability to replicate a dumble as I would say with some certainty they've never owned one... Unless they managed to lend one for testing...

@@frankiewalnuts the thing I always try to remember with these is that you aren’t getting the in the room sound, your getting what you’d get it you were plugged in to the amp with it mic’d in another room and you were listening back through studio monitors
