I have heard all these guys play. All great players. I have only met one of these gentlemen and visited with them. I met Doyle Dykes a couple of years ago and had a nice visit. Doyle is not only one of the best guitar player around, he is, more importantly, a great human being. Greta Christian man. 🙏

Definitely worth watching; I would agree, the audio is not as great as it could have been. But just to watch this line up, and throw Diego in for some Latin flavor. really excellent! I would have loved to see somebody like Paul Davids in the mix.

You're absolutely right. I get sick and tired of people telling me that the reason I'm so good at guitar is because i was born with that musical talent. I'm like excuse me, I have spent thousands of hours of patience, hard work, and dedication, to the point where my fingers have actually bleed. Your not gonna push all that away. The reason you're not good at guitar yet is because you don't play it.

Doyle Dykes is the top talent there. Hands down. Richard is great, Tommy is great ... Doyle's touch and clarity is unchallenged. Doyle is deaf in his right ear from a terrible disease ... so he can't really step up in this environment.

Well, just to the left of Tommy Emmanuel is the powerhouse Doyle Dykes. Really amazing player. Has some virtuosic guitar arrangements of pieces of his own. He's one of my favorite players. Was able to attend a small workshop he did and witness him play live.

@@MrSF247 I used to live 15 minutes down the road from him back in late 90's - 10's .. used to see him play all the time at local churches, guitar stores, super nice guy who kept his focus on faith and family instead of the fame game, and without doubt one of the very best pop fingerstyle guitarists ever, if not the best (theres a few fingersyle guys at the very top IMHO that occupy the same rarified air, any could be "the best" on a given day).

Everytime Doyle's turn came around, Tommy had to open his fat mouth about something. So hyper and obnoxious, whereas Doyle is relaxed and respectful. We all know Tommy is incredible, but he just can't seem to get enough of the spotlight. Even at his Advanced age, he just continues to overstep.

I hope the sound was better there, than on this recording, all fantastic guitarists, some played a little too much, but in my opinion (although comparisons are odious..) Tommy is just way above the rest...on top of which of course he is at home in every style..

The audio is so bad it's unlistenable. They all have vocal mics and their instruments are plugged in for monitor mixes. Why on earth was this not multi-tracked, or at the very least captured as a board tape?? What a loss to have all these greats in the same room and to botch the recording. Sigh....
