Dude, this is awesome... You should definitely react to this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gHTHgZ6jYpuMj8U. It's "The Ringers" (AKA Michael Landau, Jimmy Herring, and Wayne Krantz) playing Worried Life Blues at BB King's club in NYC. It's kind of an older clip, but it's pretty unbelievable.

This song will forever remind me of Miami Vice. That first pilot episode at the end, where Tubbs and Sonny ride off into the night, towards their unknown fate. Unsure of what might happen down at the port. And Sonny calls his ex-wife reassuring their past, as the drum solo hits and they cruise off down the street, neon lights dancing around that black stallion of a car. Past all the street lights, down an empty street.. One of the best uses of music in film I've ever seen. Perfect for the time and feeling of the 80s.

I saw the 86' Clapton/Collins tour in our home state of Maryland at the (Old) Capital Center in Largo.I told you before I am originally from Frederick and now I love in Smithburg, Md. Nathan East was on Bass and Greg Phillinganes was on Keys. They both also did backing vocals. Between the 4 of them "Great Harmonies". To top it all off Robert Cray did the "Opening Set"! Great concert and they did this song......

My wife is one of *those* *people* who don't get the concept of songs that you JUST. DON'T. INTERRUPT. I cannot tell you how many times she has started talking to me 0.8 seconds before the drum fill in the 27 years we've been married. I'm too old for getting gone, so I guess I'll forgive her sins as she undoubtedly forgives mine 😏

Got nip that in bud early, 27 years she is never gonna change now lol..in my opinion there is 2 kinds of people. People who will sit and wait for the song to end, a certain drum fill, hook, guitar line to end before turning off the car. Then there is the losers who have no idea, I cut them out of my life early, you can't teach that. I married a musician so I didn't have to deal with that. Peace

I am old and ill, but I still sing and dance in the house every day I can and play for me. I love Eric too, and actually met him in 2000, quickly of course.
