Good luck with the arm! I know it can be difficult. Broke my femur in a cycle wreck in the early 90's. They thought I'd walk with a limp...proved em wrong! Stick with the pt! Good luck!👍😎🎸🎶
@GuitarGoomba6 жыл бұрын
Will do. Doctors told me I'd never walk (let alone ride) again after I got rather broken racing motocross when I was a kid. Not only did I walk and ride, I became a professional motorcycle rider.

Can't go wrong with Alnico.
@GuitarGoomba6 жыл бұрын
Nope. You can choose different Alnico magnets and alter the tone. That will be in a future build series.

That would be a kick ass birthday present. If you haven't subscribed, do that, then go back and like and comment on all of the earlier videos for the maximum number of entries.

Excited to hear what it’s gonna sound like, especially with the better pickup in place. I like watching the nuts and bolts of guitar building and feel better prepared to eventually build one myself. Didn’t know about the couplings you showed. That’s a smart way to join the wires.
@GuitarGoomba6 жыл бұрын
It also keeps the moisture out of the connection. There is a link in the description for the connectors if you need some.

That's great! I was wondering about the stock pickups. The solderless idea seems great for a less messy and dangerous way of fixing wires in a guitar! Can't wait to hear it.

That's a really cool trick that I didn't know. I still suck at soldering despite having built LOTS of heathkits as a kid, so glad to now have this one up my sleeve. Also even more anxious to find out who won this now that you've upgraded it. Alnico V is some glorious stuff.
