I purchased the Bass version of this... and just for fun plugged my Jazzmaster guitar into it... my god, does it sound warm and incredibly clear! And it does have enough drive to get some usable distortion. Amazing product.

really nice I never thought my BOSS Katana Mini would be loud at 7 watts but that little thing kicks serious butt, I have the mini, the Cube sounds great, BOSS really puts out brilliant amps, debating on the big brother Katana 50 , on the next one I like the idea of a full speaker ability to drop it down to a .5 watts ,

hi, I'm a fellow Boss fan lol I own the Katana Mini and just ordered the Dual Cube LX... I own the 50w Katana and I've owned the 100w one as well... they are both FANTASTIC amps, maybe you've already got one, but if you are on the fence, know both the 50 Katana as well as the 100 are amazing!

How does mp3 tracks sound playing through the bass version? Is mp3 playback sound any different on the bass cab compared to the standard version?

Thanks for the review. Still looking for someone playing a 6 string through the bass version as it has more useful options such as rhythm and XLR, and 5" speakers. Seems like Boss should have made one version with the bass features and skipped the guitar version.

The bass version is made for bassist and it is nice to have one made for the instrument you buy it for. WoW

I use the bass amp for electric drums, it's perfect. Also good for 6 string electric.

You can indeed! You can take a stereo line out via the back of the amp to go directly into your interface!

They make a Chinese clone of the Boss Street smart that is way better. It has build in bluetooth(no $60 dongle needed) build in lithium battery, 80watts. Its called a "coolmusic" 80. Its only $200

I got one, it sounds like a cheep old radio. Terrible sound. Its nice with the battery but thats it.
