I have been using the Falcon 2 / Proteus combo as my bushcraft set-up for 3 years, and never thought to strap the Proteus to the bottom of the F-2. Brilliant! A simple, elegant solution, that may have saved me the cost of a Gyrfalcon pack (which I viewed on Amazon earlier this week). 😉👍 Cheers - and keep up the good work! 🍻

LOL! If you flip the kayak, flip it back and continue your trip. The Proteus Versipack does make an excellent tier 2 survival pack, or even a good vehicle EDC pack.

I did the same combo - but with the SAbercat (but I'm 6"4, so that's not for "taller people above 5"6")...

Can't pack a rain jacket, a fleece vest, 1 of my German army parka, extra gloves or an extra stocking cap. Don't need that

It is beautiful little bag, but is useless. It is too small for bag and too big for purse.
