I hate playing this song. My first FC like 3 or 4 years ago took me 6 hours. S I X H O U R S. This one only took like an hour, but fuck this song. I tried for a long time after getting this video to get the solo squeeze, but I couldn't pull it off in a real run. I hit it plenty of times when I missed during the solo, but when I was on an FC run I just couldn't manage to hit it. Really wanted 200k. Maybe I'll go back and try for it another time.

Thanks to Friff’s video about some guitar hero facts, it was originally going to be a bonus song, but due to licensing issues, or wavegroup made such a crappy cover, can’t remember which one, the song I Want Candy was taken off of the tier two list and replaced with this one.

I love that the two Homestar Runner songs are some of the most notorious songs in GH history. Trogdor! with the strum limit and impossible (under normal circumstances) to hit notes because of that, and then Because, It’s Midnite being probably the most undertiered song in the series with a balls-to-the-wall hard solo (that isn’t even a guitar solo it’s a synth solo lol)

Sweet! Btw, did you play GH80s using your ASUS monitor like the other games? If so, how did you hook up your PS2? With component or AV cables? And lastly, did you have to calibrate the game?

Ok I'm going to try my best to explain my setup, it's very convoluted. So I have my ps2 AV cables going into a splitter, so that I can have it display on two different screens. From the splitter, I have another set of AV cables going to a CRT tv (the old tube TVs) so I can play with no lag. There is also another set of AV cables going from the splitter to an AV to HDMI converter. Then there is an HDMI cable going from that converter to my Elgato. I do it this way so that I can record in the highest quality (HDMI on my Asus monitor), but yet play at the native resolution on an older TV.

This, Ballroom Blitz, and Play With Me are my last 3 before an FGFC on this game. What are your methods of being well-practiced on this song? I want to FC this song so bad, but it's astronomically god damn hard. Ballroom Blitz - Literally just Solo B is holding me back based on the quad soulless zigs. Play With Me - It looks less hard than the other 2, but it's longer and more chockable which requires a bigger endurance than the 2 above.
