This is a heartbreaking song for any Queen fan, it's about Freddie giving it all till the end, when his body was giving up. Brian May said "I sat down with Freddie, and we decided what the theme should be and wrote the first verse. It's a long story, that song, but I always felt it would be important because we were dealing with things that were hard to talk about at the time, but in the world of music, you could do it". Freddie recorded the amazing vocals just some weeks before his death, at a time when his bandmates were doubting he would be able to do it due to the progress of his illness and the frailness of his body. Dimash is honoring Freddie with this cover, I can picture him somewhere in the Universe listening to this performance with a broad smile in his face.

I’m very happy that you are going to his concert December 10th in New York! It will be awesome. Dimash didn’t know how to speak in english during this competition but his rendition of this song is epic. When you listen to the original Queen song, you will see ho much Dimash changed it and made it his own. Both versions are great!
